Some people were abusive enough to Sarah Palin’s daughters that they started to cry. We have to assume that this abusive behavior was unprovoked by any of the Palins or that fact would have included in the police report.
Todd Palin stood up for his sisters, possibly along with a friend of his.
A non Palin family member punched one of the friends of Todd Palin to kick off the fight. Todd and the rest of the Palin family defended themselves - and quite effectively, it seems.
Some guy punched Bristol Palin hard enough to knock her on the ground . Call me old fashioned and paternalistic, but a guy hitting a girl is not cool in my book, BTW. Bristol Palin got up off the ground and kicked her attackers ass. Very cool.
Overall, it seems the Palins won the fight.
Not bad, not bad at all.
Pretty tame in fact, by Alaska standards.

Well THAT is always a safe assumption. But. As long as you now understand I was posting 3 separate and different typical responses and that no one (not even me) could agree to all three.

I agree,my take is that they had it in for the mother and took it out on the kids.Happened to me once.They went after my kids and laughed at us when we were leaving.There were 20 of us.I tried to get out of the car but my sons held me and told my husband keep driving.Anything they can do to hurt you they will.The kids will learn to pick and choose where to go.
Yes, because Bristol (never married mother of a 5 year old), and Track (divorced father of a 2 year old), sh!t faced and brawling at some beer bash are clearly the best this country has to offer.
The fact that I would encourage my children not to engage in such activity clearly makes me “hi-brow”. Now if you’ll excuse me, the Queen is coming for dinner later and I have to find the good dishes.

Well there were plenty of stories floating around about John Edwards (also a failed vice-Presidential candidate) and his baby-mama a few years back. You want to run with the big boys and you have to take the consequences that come with it.

Where was the press covering Joe Biden’s daughter’s SERIOUS transgressions? I don’t recall the HUNDREDS of stories in the media that they give to this Palin story.
I don’t buy your contention that if the Palins were liberal, they’d get the just same scope or negativity as by the media. Not by a longshot.
Are you kidding me? You make my point for me. The Edwards story was known for YEARS, and they didn’t report it, it was even known before the election and they didn’t report it. Had that been done by a member without a (D) behind their name, it would have been reported daily and for the next five years.
Wasn’t Biden’s daughter. It was his niece. And do a google search. There was plenty of press coverage.
Sorry pal, but one can be quite conservative, and still think the Palin’s look pretty silly when reading about this incident. Your hero worship has screwed up your judgement.
