pending further proceedings

I'll put on the rose-colored glasses for now and wait to see what comes of this. They may uphold the lower ruling in the end.

Well yeah.
5 Justices had to vote to have the court rule instead of letting Kagan decide by herself- which she could do. That’s what interested me.
I guess they’ve compromised : allow voterID but allow for delays whenever remotely possible.

And maybe they’re concerned about the catastrophic loss of income to Chicago winos.

Reading this made me sick. http://fox6now.com/2014/10/09/u-s-supreme-court-blocks-wisconsin-from-implementing-voter-id-law/

I thought it might have to do with absentee ballots but it kind of is saying they did it because its just wrong to not let people that don’t have ID vote. Ridiculous.

I’m so disappointed by this. Its been approved then appealed then upheld then.....sick of it
Apparently voter fraud trumps my civil liberties. I’m just so mad!
And I’m sorry, I don’t have much faith in VanHollen to get this law back in place by Nov. 4 like he says he will.
I can’t help but smell the Obama admins hand in this either.
I hope this fires up our conservative voters even more to get out and vote. I just cannot live in a state with Burke as governor.

Well, no need to worry any longer about Obama appointing the next justice. Won’t make a difference.

Can Wisconsin tell them to go to hell?

Only certain ones, not all of them.

This will energize the vote on the right. Nothing makes true Americans more pissed off than the shambles made of the rule of law and the basic predicate of fairness and equality by these bumbling idiotic courts, the GD ACLU and the rest of the sniveling dirtwads blocking every attempt to shield the rights of voters.

So, not only the perpetually squishy Kennedy voted with the liberals, but Roberts, too?

Suprised? Roberts is the miserable POS that allowed Obamacare to survive. We're stuck with it now because of him.

Can Wisconsin declare road construction season along their border the day before and at least slow the influx? If the influx were reversed Jesse would be leading protest marches blocking the highways.

I don’t understand that.

How are you going to make this gov’t follow a bunch of amendments when they don’t even follow the constitution to begin with?

SCOTUS gives aid and comfort to the enemy. And still the House does nothing about the traitors.

We absolutely have taxation without representation. Used and abused by the governmental powers. Somebody way back when had something profound to say about what should occur if that were to ever happen.

Why is voter ID even a question? In which countries in the world are you not required to identify yourself to vote?

Corruption runs deep. Corruption is blatant, in your face, and it is spread from top to bottom. They don’t even bother to pretend anymore.

The ruling class tells us to keep voting every two years, as if doing the same repetitive thing could possibly lead to restoration of our freedoms.

The Framers provided peaceful means to retrieve republican government through Article V. No other society in history was bequeathed such a gift in their constitution.

If we slip into the police state we are headed for, future generations will scratch their heads and wonder why we squandered the opportunity.

I hate the SCOTUS. There is no way to stop them.

I thought that the Framers set it up so those who govern only did so with the consent of the governed...
