Does anyone in our government have common sense when it come to the spread of Ebola?

With cases of Ebola now confirmed here in the United States, one has to ask why hasn't our government took the proper step to completely isolate the infected from the general population?

I personally have little faith in these government promoted hospital isolation units to protect the general pubic from a possible pandemic of Ebola and other mystery diseases that are popping up all of a sudden.

Now with all this said, here is the questions that no one in the press seems to be asking: The taxpayers pay for two Naval Medical ships in the U.S.N.S. Comfort and Mercy, which in reality are floating hospitals that can serve as isolated hospital centers off both coast and away from the general population, so why has the Obama Administration considered or employed them with their fully trained military medical staff and support crew?

As a Veteran and one trained for NBC attacks, I have to ask these questions of the government.

They have multiple hidden agendas - the public appearance of possessing common sense is not important to them.

It doesn’t seem so, I am hoping that the military demonstrates that they are able to deal with bio threats, and that this Ebola scare leads us to dump the civilian complacency and get ready for a real life bio attack from sophisticated terrorists.

We best use this to fix our problems with our readiness.

The elites wouldn’t deign to follow anything called “common”.

They know better.

Besides, America “deserves” to see what it’s like to have a third world pandemic.

Yes, they have the common sense to know that if they don’t lie about the risks of ebola, voters may believe there are some very good reasons for closing our borders.

I read an email a few minutes ago. It said if Ebola got to South America, people from there would be crossing our border in droves.

No, nor for anything else, for that matter.

The poor response to communicable disease was exemplified by HIV (AIDS), and the guy who fought it best was George W Bush, and he fought it in Africa, for the benefit of everyone.

I’m convinced that Obama wants an ebola crisis in America. There is no better way to bring American resources to bear in the effort to find a cure. The deaths will simply be for the greater good. (Yes, that’s how leftists think).

“Besides, America “deserves” to see what it’s like to have a third world pandemic.”

There is not a pandemic of Ebola or even an epidemic of Ebola in America and the likelihood that there be any such thing is very slight if not impossible.

The only thing with Ebola that threatens America is the panic.

“Never let a good crisis go to waste.” The Current Regime still thinks they can milk some advantage from using soothing words and pooh-poohing any and all real or perceived ideas about the spread of Ebola.

But Ebola is by no means the only or perhaps not even the worst public-health threat to be on the spread in the territory once known as “the United States of America”.

Everything is conceived in the light of KEEPING the borders, particularly the southern border, open for all kinds of undocumented entry into the “territory”, and the highly developed methods of distributing as widely as possible all the new arrivals. If there is a dread plague, it will show up in a totally unexpected corner of the “territory”.

Microorganisms have neither passports nor even temporary visas. But apparently they have been accorded full diplomatic immunity and permanent residency.

Funny how when I was in the NAVY we sent the Comfort and Mercy on goodwill Medical visits all over the world, now we have Ebola within the United States and they are sitting idle in ports, this shows no common sense at all in our current government.

Our government wants to get rid of undesirables. If you’re white, conservative, “rich” (the definition of which changes daily, but it usually means anyone drawing a paycheck), a gun owner, religious, elderly, sick or disabled, or any combination thereof, you are either an enemy of the state or a burden on state resources. Either way you are an undesirable and must be exterminated.

Hitler had his gas chambers. This administration has stumbled upon a more effective and perhaps less costly means of exterminating its enemies.

I could not agree more and why aren’t we closing the boarders and putting travel bans in place.

“I read an email a few minutes ago. It said if Ebola got to South America, people from there would be crossing our border in droves.”

And how would all those people with Ebola in South America get to our border?

Very “evolutionary” - people, of course, are just the product of accident, time, and environment,

so what’s the problem if 10% of the population dies off in order to save the rest of them?

Only if they are forced into action.

And that could happen, if we see more cases in the next few weeks, as a result of Duncan and similar travelers.

So far, we have seen a nursing union and aircraft cleaning union strike over conditions related to Ebola.

More cases, more strikes.

It seems the strikers have more common sense than the politically driven CDC/WH/Congress, etc.
