Look at it this way ... it's only about half of what the Idiot spends to fire up his big jet and haul off to a fundraising event, or play a round of golf, or enjoy a quiet weekend away from the office with Reggie ...

And the even worse part is that this scenario — indigent illegal immigrants running up huge medical bills paid for by the taxpayer — is being repeated all over the country thanks to President Amnesty and his stooges in both parties in Congress. But don’t worry, America is a rich, wealthy, good-hearted country that should provide free medical care for the whole freakin world.

Send the bill to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue... better yet, send it to that race pimp, Jessie Jackoff.

This must be some sort of hoax. Everybody knows that thanks to obamacare, health care is free.

Actually America is 17.7 trillion dollars in debt, and that number is (rapidly) growing.

Meanwhile, we continue to send ever more money and jobs, to China.

Which just passed us, by the way.

The hospital knows the only chance at any payment for this patient is the government so they pump up the bill astronomically figuring they’ll settle for a major reduction later and end up getting what they really wanted in the first place.

In other words it’s business as usual.

That figure “is actually probably on the low end” for Ebola, Fitch said in a phone interview. “The isolation ward would bump up the charge a lot.”

I read that Mr. Duncan was the only patient in the entire ward.

The real cost may not be not be calculable. My own guess is at least one million. Maybe two or three. Most of us can't afford to contract Ebola.

They are trotting out the costs to preempt the Rev. Jackson.

Who is today saying Duncan received unfair treatment due to his race.

What a coincidence.

I've come to the hardconclusion that white people are the biggest dupes on the planet.

We literally throw away our dwindling resources, doling them out to everyone but those that deserve it and are entitled to it.

Regardless what the actual cost is/was....it’s THAT much more than he would’ve received (care wise) in Liberia. The family should consider that, before pulling the race card/victim stunt.

Putting the dishonest bum back on a plane immediately to Liberia would have saved the taxpayers a lot of money.

Regardless of the actual cost to care for Duncan, the real concern should be the next patient and the next and....

Wonder if Presby Hosp mgmt has come to the realization that a two patient and more load might be more than they can handle without diminishing quality and quantity of care given to normal influx of patients.

Hosp CFO is no doubt still scanning insurance policies for word “Ebola” + “exclusion”.
