Thankfully, one less to worry about.

Yeah, we’re going to see a lot of this and possible disinformation. It’s flu season.

Got to love their terse response to the question though. It comes across as saying, ‘Now get the hell out’.

Agreed, the volume of disinformation will be a sight to behold.
President Obama will seek to bury all news about Ebola deaths...a preventable disease he facilitated to come here.

No need for actual disinformation. When positive native Ebola cases go into the emergency room in flu season, the first thing they will ask is if they have been to Africa or been around someone with Ebola. If they say no, then they are out in the street, fever or not. If they say yes, then they go into the contact tracing queue and examination room full of African immigrants and others who made contact with African immigrants. 99% of those in the waiting room will have flu. It will take hours to get the test results and even those won't be super accurate.

One thing that will unnecessarily fill the waiting room will be white people with the flu. In order to satisfy political correctness they won't allow an all-black waiting room. So some whites with fever and maybe an Ebola contact or maybe not will get tossed in. Granted they won't have to touch anyone in the waiting room and 99% of the people in the waiting room will have flu, not Ebola.

So there will be no need for actual disinformation because bad information will be created automatically by this system. That bad information will include false positives (you white guys with no Ebola), false negatives (Africans let out to infect other people) and a melange of rumors, innuendo, charges of racism, etc. Eventually some sane politicians (even Democrats can have moments of sanity) will end the influx. By then it may be too late to control completely. I don't think the virus will ever spiral out of control here, but it could take residence in some slums where people have a chance to spread before the authorities can find them.

I left out the most important fact: innocent Americans will die. Maybe not a lot, but any is too many when this is entirely preventable.

I don't think it will spiral out of control either but we are a pretty mobile society and people aren't going to want to be locked up when they aren't sick so there will be lies. Some people just plain don't or won't know and will be caught off guard.

There will be loss of control of carriers who are out there. Probably are some already in our very mobile society.

The man in Texas who turned up sick today, maybe not ebola or maybe we won't tell the truth. Hard to keep it under wraps though.

The family got more and earlier exposure than the deputy. So they would have to be infected soon or it would have to be hushed up. Hushing up any family deaths would be quite a trick. For example, a car crash could create a viral mess if the crash victim is infected, but that might suit some interests.

Do you know where they are? Since you do not know, I assume you have fallen for the 'trick'.

Duncan’s family may have been exposed to it before, if they had regular contacts with Liberians, and may have had some immunity. Also, some of them (such as the one who was the nurses’ aide) practically seemed to be bathing in bleach because they suspected that he was sick.

Personally, I don’t think that the sheriff’s deputy will turn out to have ebola.

But if he does, it’s because all it takes is one wrong contact - the nurse in Spain, for example, is now admitting that when she took off her spacesuit, she touched her bare face with her hand (still in its first layer of gloves). And I doubt that either the Spanish nurse or the Texas deputy would have had even any residual or inherited resistance, so they were probably even easier to infect (although a lot of African health workers appear to have died from fairly brief contact, too).

I go between two theories, either the people living in Malaria-Yellowfever-Ebola Land are strong as oxen and able to fight off Ebola when there is a small localized infection, or their immune systems are tired from all the fighting and just give in.

The real problem with Ebola is that it leverages the immune response to enter the blood stream. So the immune system has to be strong but not hyperactive.

Yes, a car crash or some messy death of one with symptoms could cause many spreading vectors. Other scenarios I won't put in writing to give fodder to people who may not have thought of it yet. And it could be done by one group hoping another group will get the blame. But those race hustlers ought to be ashamed of themselves. When you are in grief or major stressed, it's easy to become a victim of unscrupulous people like has already happened today.

That race business could definitely spiral out of control.
