HOUSTON, Texas -- On Monday Texas Governor Rick Perry dismissed the notion that a travel ban from Ebola-afflicted nations would be an effective step to prevent a viral outbreak in the United States. Perry's comments echo those of the Obama Administration; over the past week the CDC has repeatedly refused to support banning flights from countries affected by Ebola.

Perry forced vaccinations on children,
but will not isolate a fatal disease.
Idiot.
It’s not forever Rick, just to stabilize spread. Sheesh, what’s up with these guys.
Just when Governor Perry seemed to be exercising some common sense on issues concerning the border, he comes out with this nonsense. It won’t help him in any presidential ambitions.
A first responder deputy sheriff may be the next Dallas bola victim. Just in on Fox.
Perry is an ass.
Agreed. Who will stand up and defend our country? Not the supposed liberal in the White House? Not the supposed conservative governing Texas?
I really think this could spur a coup here in this country. And that may not be a bad thing.
Perry is now responsible for anyone else in Texas who dies from Ebola.
I’m not surprised. La Raza Rick has a penchant for saying stupid things (see my tagline).
I stumbled across this earlier. It was already two days old, and I couldn’t believe that it hadn’t been posted on FR.
New tagline ...
Big mistake, Perry.
Reckless. There must be something ebola that if it should get into the food chain somehow, it won’t be recalled.
Once again, Rick Perry proves he is not ready to be President!
Taking the temperature of incoming passengers from Ebola-infested nations won’t help if an infected passenger is asymptomatic.
So does Perry also want to kill us?
I'd heard it on radio a day or two ago, but this is the first I've seen of it in print. Some people probably didn't want to believe it.
Too late Perry. We are one of those countries now. Soon we won’t be able to fly out.
Is Perry a member of the CFR?
Is using the term ‘ebola nation’ racist ?
Not that there has ever been a doubt, but Rick Perry has once again confirmed that he is far from being anything even remotely approaching presidential.
Nope. Not smart enough.
He's a LIBERAL too.
But I repeat myself.
Moron. I was not keen on Perry in the last primary, and as far as I’m concerned, this does him in for the next one.
Moron.
