From Wikipedia, in re: Light Horse Henry Lee, of the Continental US Army (father of Robert E. Lee):
“On July 27, 1812, Lee received grave injuries while helping to resist an attack on his friend, Alexander Contee Hanson, editor of the Baltimore newspaper, The Federal Republican. Hanson was attacked by Democratic-Republican (also known as the Jeffersonian Republicans who formed this party to oppose the machinations of Alexander Hamilton) mob because his paper opposed the War of 1812- his home in Baltimore was attacked with rifle and cannon fire, and Lighthorse Lee and many others helped defend him there. Lee and Hanson and two dozen other Federalists then had taken refuge in the offices of the paper. The group surrendered to Baltimore city officials the next day and were jailed for their protection (or so said the militia that put them under “guard”) . Laborer George Woolslager led a mob that forced its way into the jail, removed the Federalists, beating and torturing them over the next three hours. All were severely injured, and one Federalist, James Lingan, died. (James Lingan was a Revolutionary War General for the Continental Army- he was murdered).
Lee suffered extensive internal injuries as well as head and face wounds, and even his speech was affected. Lee later sailed to the West Indies in an effort to recuperate from his injuries. He died on 25 March 1818, at Dungeness, on Cumberland Island, Georgia.”

60 Minutes turned bullying conservatives into an art form... every business was fair play... every person with an “R” by their name they didn’t like. Somehow 60 minutes never could shine that light of theirs on liberal non-profits known for ripping people off... This is not really any different than claiming that we should take a “measured response” to terrorism.
For example, Putin’s measure of response to terrorism is A LARGE AND GROSSLY DISPROPORTIONATE AMOUNT OF RESPONSE. Libs need some of this too from the right.
