The first casualty of war is the truth. Unfortunately Obama’s politicization of the government into a pro-illegal alien organization has made its official statements untrustworthy forcing us to rely on individual whistleblowers from inside the organization.
A Republican congressman claimed Tuesday that “at least 10″ Islamic State “fighters” have been caught trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border into Texas, though an administration official denied it.
Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., said he learned the information from the Border Patrol, warning that the alleged attempts to cross into the U.S. raise serious security concerns.
Hunter continued: “I know that at least 10 ISIS fighters have been caught coming across the Mexican border in Texas.”
The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday denied Hunter’s claim.
“The suggestion that individuals who have ties to ISIL have been apprehended at the Southwest border is categorically false, and not supported by any credible intelligence or the facts on the ground,” a senior DHS spokesman said. “DHS continues to have no credible intelligence to suggest terrorist organizations are actively plotting to cross the southwest border.”
But Hunter spokesman Joe Kasper said the information — that about 10 individuals with “known ISIS affiliations” — came from a “high-level source within the Border Patrol.”
Is it true? Who knows. DHS has zero credibility when it comes to official statements these days. The Secretary of Homeland Security is Jeh Johnson, a mini-Holder, who puts national security last and illegal alien amnesty first.
Considering his role in promoting illegal alien amnesty, no DHS statement on the border can be or should be trusted.
That doesn’t mean that the report is necessarily true, but considering the kinds of scams that the government has pulled with the so-called “unaccompanied minors” there is no reason to believe that they wouldn’t lie about this.
Furthermore it would explain Obama’s sudden urgency to be seen doing something about ISIS.
We know that there has been ISIS chatter about exploiting the southern border. We also know that some of the ISIS fighters might want to avoid US immigration to avoid having their movements and identities track. Considering how Obama has opened up the border, their strategy makes sense.
Of course they would. This administration, like fellow communist ones before it must propagate, perpetuate and forever protect the lie. I believe NOTHING uttered by any member of this rancid cabal.

At an earlier hearing on the subject, Cong Jason Chaffetz questioned DHS Secy Homeland Johnson WRT whether he is “aware of any apprehensions of suspected or known terrorists.”
The calculated Johnson dodged the question.
Seems that Secy Johnson "forgot" to mention this (cackle).

The Obama administration has issued new exemptions to a law that bars certain asylum-seekers and refugees who provided “limited material support” to terrorists who are believed to pose no threat from the U.S.
The Department of Homeland Security and the State Department published the new exemptions Wednesday in the Federal Register to narrow a ban in the Immigration and Nationality Act excluding refugees and asylum seekers who had provided limited material support, no matter how minor, to terrorists.
“These exemptions cover five kinds of limited material support that have adversely and unfairly affected refugees and asylum seekers with no tangible connection to terrorism: material support that was insignificant in amount or provided incidentally in the course of everyday social, commercial, family or humanitarian interactions, or under significant pressure,” a DHS official explained to The Daily Caller.
