Please don’t slip into the escapist personal attacks again, try to stay focused on this thread, try to focus on making sense in regard to the topic at hand.
I have no idea what that is supposed to mean in the context of you claiming the 101st is a Special Operations Division.
What do you think their mission is in Liberia?
So you think there is a military conspiracy to kill white military personnel, that has been ordered down from the White house, or what?
That is a totally baffling post.
No. I don’t. I am cynical to think the present Administration could make sure that Whites are overrepresented, if possible. I put nothing past these people.
NBC and CBRN - they are obviously familiar to the people who posted them but they mean nothing to the rest of us. What do they mean?
Active Duty ping.
How would the military even pull off such a thing?
That is what I asked you in my initial response to you.
“”Do you think that individuals are being pulled from units that are deploying, because they are black, do you think that units are being deployed because of racial makeup instead of what jobs they do in regards to the mission?””
You and I both know that units are deployed according to the mission. There are a number of units going from all over the place here in the States. I read them but don’t remember them all.
I repeat to you. I don’t know. But I also don’t know the makeup of said troops, except to know that 1) highly educated troops that require strong tech skills are needed in such situations, and 2) engineers for construction must be included. In my mind, these categories indicate an overrepresentation of Whites, vis a vis the American population.
Do you think 30% of the troops going are not White?
You can google them and learn, but NBC is a term that we used for generations for Nuclear, Biological, Chemical warfare.
CBRN is the more modern term, Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear.
Theses are naturally areas that are part of the military mission.
“In English the term CBRN is a replacement for the cold war term NBC (nuclear, biological, and chemical), which had replaced the term ABC (atomic, biological, and chemical) that was used in the fifties. The addition of the R (for radiological) is a consequence of the “new” threat of a radiological weapon (also known as “dirty bombs”).”
Why are you wasting all this time on something so meaningless and just repeating the same questions over and over?
Why don’t you do your own research, uncover the conspiracy, and then reveal the news to us.
Rodriguez is FOS. 4,000 troops going to Obolaland and only a handful are specifically trained to deal with infectious diseases. The vast majority are there to be a security detail and police force to a population already exposed to the virus.
From the little that I have seen, these 3,000 are way beyond USAMRIID and while a lot is medical, a whole lot of it is construction, and instructors, and logistical muscle for moving supplies, equipment, and gear.
They will also try to produce 500 new Ebola medical trainees per week among the population.
Below are excerpts:
The key elements of military response will focus on logistics, supplies, engineering, support for the Accra, Ghana, air bridge for transport of supplies and personnel to the epidemic, and the construction of at least 17 new hospital facilities designated for Ebola care.
The military will also build a training facility, which will rapidly teach infection control and self-protection procedures to hundreds of local and foreign health workers. The military hopes to process up to 500 health workers, both civilians and humanitarian responders, in a week.
The civilian side of the operation will feature further expansion of CDC deployment of epidemiologists and laboratory workers, primarily in Liberia.
The U.S. Public Health Service will provide medical staff for a Department of Defense-built 25-bed hospital in Monrovia. And USAID, partially with the financial support of Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen, will make and distribute 400,000 home care kits to Liberia, to be used by families to tend safely to ailing loved ones.
In this case, I hate being right. How many of us mourned Zeros election in 2008,knowing his ineligibility and radicalism....still we had no idea how bad it could get, and now it’s beyond any wild scenarios that could have been dreamed up. He has literally turned us into a 3rd world country in 6 years. All 3 our family has in the military are getting out as soon as possible when their enlistments are up. No one wants to serve under this regime.
How many of us??
There are a bunch of ‘us’ here on FR who gloated that they wouldn’t vote for a Mormon.
There are a bunch now who say they won’t vote for 100% pure conservative.
Our right wing is doing us in.
I am sooo grateful my sons are done serving their time....but my heart truly goes out to the troops over there...even more than in a war zone....this beast will blindside them as I understand after 6 weeks even the medical staff start getting too comfortable and slip on the safety routines..... Which is some of the medical teams switch aand rotate in 6 week increments.
Hey military. It’s payback time! Tell ME I can’t salute with a cup of coffee!
You lefties are killing the GOP. Pushing pro-abortion candidates for president who campaign against the party's pro life platform is sick.
“you lefties”
That’s about what I’d expect from this site.
