White House Says United States Is Prepared to Stop Spread of Ebola

White House officials on Friday vowed to prevent the spread of Ebola in the United States and to eventually halt its ability to ravage parts of West Africa. They urged calm and said the arrival of the first Ebola case in the United States should not cause excessive concern.

But the officials did not announce any new initiatives inside the United States to respond to concerns about the sometimes chaotic response by health and hospital officials to the Dallas case of Thomas E. Duncan, the Liberian man whose Ebola infection was diagnosed this week.

“The United States has the most capable health infrastructure and the most capable doctors in the world, bar none,” said Lisa O. Monaco, President Obama’s chief homeland security adviser.

“The United States is prepared to deal with this crisis, both at home and in the region,” Ms. Monaco told reporters in an afternoon briefing at the White House. “Every Ebola outbreak in the past 40 years has been stopped. We know how to do this and we will do it again.”

I think Obama has plans to engage the Ebola virus, and anticipate that he will soon announce plans to negotiate with Ebola. But, first, we all must acknowledge the virtues of Ebola. Ebola is a virus of peace, a virus dedicated to fairness, and equality, and humanity. No genuine Ebola virus would wantonly kill journalists and innocent children. What we are witnessing is the perversion of a great virus. We will offer to support moderate strains of the Ebola virus to isolate and eliminate this perverted strain of Ebola.

Ok, since they know how, what is stopping them? Color me skeptical.

“Uh, that was before Obama.”

How come he isn’t blaming Bush for the infrastructure he inherited?

How did man with ebola find the money to fly those two expensive routes?? It was my understanding (??) that the cost of the ticket with two overlays was over $5000.00....and the route was odd.

Is this another one of those escorted trips to the USA, or did he have a passport with right to come here?

I just read this article from KTAR in Phoenix. Thomas Duncan’s brother whom lives in Phoenix was interviewed. He says his brother tested negative when he left Liberia?

“They took him back to the same hospital the doctor now says that he has Ebola so our question is how does that happen, what did he contract it from? He was tested in Africa as negative and after the hospital after he got medication, he was OK.

“How come he got Ebola after they gave him medication? That’s our major concern right now.”

It is time to drive this criminal out of the white house. It is time to demand the resignation of Obola and his entire regime. It is time to demand that the children currently occupying the highest levels of government be removed.
