Recently I ran across this statement by Thomas Jefferson in a letter he wrote to Abigail Adams, dated Sept. 11, 1804:
"I tolerate with the utmost latitude the right of others to differ from me in opinion without imputing to them criminality."
The Democrats claim that their party was founded by Thomas Jefferson but in general they are as far from his views as it is possible to get.
I have said here many times before that the Democrat Party should be prosecuted under the RICO statues.
Liberal used to have something to do with freedom.
Now Liberals are all about licentiousness.
guess what, we all just became criminals.
Yet they’ll continue to thump the First Amendment and the right to “dissent” for themselves only. Outside of advancing Pol Pot’s “wheel of history” free speech has no appeal whatsoever to these people.
And they of course will decide what constitutes “hate speech”. Just like “hate crimes”-it doesn’t apply if against a white, male, Christian, or some combination thereof.

Criminalizing hate speech.....Hmmmmmmmmmmm? Does that mean they will no longer doing any protests?
And 100% sypport democrats defining what hate speech is.
Anyone that supports making a penalty worse because of a victim’s ‘special category’ is simply declaring some people are better than others.
A crime is a crime, and your reasons for commuting that crime are as ill-relevant as they are subjective to your thoughts and emotions which are most defiantly NOT crimes in themselves. HATE just like any other thought or emotion is not and under no legitimate government ever could be a crime.
So ether your favoring the outlaw of a thought or feeling.(Extremely unAmerican and downright totalitarian) or your declaring some people’s rights as more important than others.(Rather unAmerican as well, fascist)
Simply put your a sicko if you support the idea of “Hate Crimes”, much less specific laws and/or ‘penalties’ against “Hate” or any other thought and/or Emotion.
McBackstabber and his girlfriend, Ms. Lindsey, would go for this. When Hillary pulled that boner about the youtube video causing that ambassador to be killed by goat humpers in Libya, Ms. Lindsey stood up with some lefties and expressed his wisdom that hate speech that causes violence should be banned.
They have great sympathy for the poor victim head choppers, Muslims. For some reason, the public has not followed them down that rabbit hole. Sharia speech laws is what they want in the name of keeping things quiet and safe. Liberals get speakers banned for fear their speech might cause them (”protesters”) to be violent all the time.
