As Texas health officials continue to investigate the potential transmission of Ebola virus in Dallas, a lot of questions still remain.

Did Thomas Eric Duncan know he might have possibly been exposed to Ebola in Liberia? Should he have been more aware of the potential dangers of Ebola and the potential for spreading the disease to others?

Don’t you know that researching a black person’s background is racist?

"Supposedly the average IQ in Liberia is 67"

Isn't the accepted level for mental retardation 70?

His actions are a pretty strong indication that he knew he had been exposed and jumped onto a plane to get to America where he had the best chance to stay alive. He made a mistake, which is understandable in the circumstance, when he did not tell the ER personnel that he was from Liberia and had been closely exposed to Ebola. I understand his actions entirely . I fault the USA government for not closing the Liberian airports as soon as Ebola was known.

IMO, the Ebola concerns/panic/issues vaguely resemble the same type of uncertainty the country went thru when patient number one with aids was discovered.

I looked it up:

Mental Retardation

* "Mild mental retardation: IQ 50–55 to 70; children require mild support; formally called "Educable Mentally Retarded".

54 cases of typhoid fever, with three resulting in fatalities.
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Funny how ‘advanced’ we have become.

The above ‘incident’ becomes known world over even with a ‘catchy name’ attached to it. Typhoid Mary.

Al Capone and his Associates (supposedly) kill 8 rivals in a garage on St Valentines Day, it is give a name “St Valentines Day Massacre”, Songs and movies are written about it.

Today 54 cases and 3 deaths gets maybe a yawn while Chicago wiped out more people in 10 years than a WAR in Afghanistan did and it doesn’t even rate a yawn. (I am NOT counting the ‘other sides’ losses, after all it is the job of our soldiers to ensure the enemy reaches room temperature)

Imagine what the totals would be if ordinary folk were allowed to have guns.

Actually it would be better but the ‘sheeple’ are convinced the more restrictions YOU and I have the safer they will be.

Idiots all.

As I understand it, he applied for his visa 18 months ago, and it just came through. Lucky for him.

Not our call. The guy flew in from Brussels. The problem is that he had a visa and there are 13,500 more visas in the hands of people like him.
