That youtube version is a Kinks remake when Ray Davies was in his Neil Young reverse tribute phase. Here's the 1966 original which actually inspired Neil Young's autochthonous Crazy Horse in 1969:

Thank You-They are not in New York.I do know a lot of the guys from NY.I did TV there.They watched the show and would call me.We prayed to gether.It was heartbreaking and horrible.We are going through horrible times now and it’s nice to listen to songs that inspire people.
