Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) wants to replace Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and give the job to Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), he reportedly told donors at a private fundraiser last month.
According to audio of a Democrats for Education Reform PAC fundraiser obtained by The Washington Free Beacon, Pryor said the "best thing that could happen" to the Senate would be if Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) "gets beat and Harry Reid gets replaced.”

“The next guy in line would be [Senate Minority Whip John] Cornyn from Texas,” said Pryor. “Cornyn, I don’t see him as really being that great.”
Pryor suggested Sen. Richard Burr (R., N.C.), but “I don’t think he’d ever do it.”
“Of course the best one would be Sen. Lamar Alexander (R., Tenn.),” he added. “Lamar doesn’t have a chance of doing it, he’s too moderate in this environment.”
Schumer is the last guy you want in a position of power.

It would be nice if they could pick people from both parties who could at least talk to each other. I understand they need to be partisan. But on most issues there can be some compromise, a level of agreement where something can be done.
This intentional gridlock act is getting real long in the tooth.

I just don’t see a lot of undecideds in Arkansas who would be saying “you know, I like that Schumer feller, and if Pryor is saying it, I’ll back Pryor!”
Schumer, Durbin, the Washington Twins and the two California Moonbats, all of them are toxic to the survival of the Republic.

Most people in AR don’t know any of those senators of which Pryor is speaking. Too bad John McClellan had to die, or he’d still be there.
schumer?? for Senate Majority Leader. Yeah, that’ll really help pryor with the Arkansans I know. He’s got to be an idiot to have mentioned reid or schumer. I hope he keeps it up.
