Dallas Paramedic: We Weren’t Contacted After Working in Ebola Exposed Ambulance
Breitbart ^ | 10-02-2014 | Bob Price

HOUSTON, Texas -- A Dallas paramedic claimed he drove the ambulance that the US Ebola patient was transported in and that he was not contacted by anyone about the potential exposure. He claims he drove the ambulance sometime after the patient was transported. The Dallas Fire Department left the ambulance that transported Ebola patient Thomas Duncan to the hospital in service for at least 48 hours before putting it in quarantine on Wednesday. The ambulance was exposed to the Ebola virus when Duncan was transported on September 28th. “All the people in the back of the ambulance 48 hours later before they finally took the ambulance out of service,” said Dallas Paramedic Geoffrey Aklinski in a discussion on Facebook, “none of them have been contacted. None of the paramedics that were on that shift and went in the ambulance were contacted. I’ve been off three days now. No one contacted me and I was in and drove that ambulance after it was infected.”

I've got to ask . . .Mr. Duncan's housemates have been quarantined in their apartment.

The photo in the above comment illustrates why I ask this question.

At the time the family was notified they were being confined to quarantine for two or more weeks, did the government or emergency services assisted the family in getting rid of the soiled linens, carpets, towels, clothing that has been potentially contaminated? Or are these poor folks trapped inside the very structure in which Mr. Duncan became gravely ill and are they being left to their own devices?

*****

On the radio I just heard the CDC has confirmed 42 states have cases of ENT H68 virus with over 500 patients infected.

The commentator suggested this is a great teaching moment.

sigh.

They don’t look like experienced HAZMAT guys. That chick is pretty close.

Can you imagine being a heart patient somewhere in Dallas who rode in that ambulance?

Or the next of kin.

Or the doctors and nurses who might operate on that person in the next week w/o knowing they were potentially being exposed to ebola.

But hey, we’re more hygienic than ‘those African savages’. We understand these things. Or something.

It won’t spread here.

Or something.

Esperanza Parking Lot Cleaning and Catering Services are claiming they were lied to and were called out to cleanup after an armadillo was ran over in the parking lot.

In the photo you can see the brown solution of ebola-vomit traveling down the curb in front of the car — probably emptying into a storm drain.

Not good.

Yep. I read that too. Cats on the other hand, more discerning where they step and what they eat.

I can’t imagine. I’d be drinking the oregano oil, eating cloves of garlic, and any other herbs I could think of.

Lawyers are salivating over this.

Lawyers will get infected and die from ebola, proportionately, just like every other occupational category in the USA, whether they believe it or not.

All the pollyannas bragging about how "advanced", or "educated", or "modernized", or "civilized" the USA is, when compared to African nations ... well, all the government and medical screw-ups of the past two days should give them pause. But, probably not.

Whatever advantage we had toward containment has already been thrown out the window. Too much ego everywhere.

It’s almost like they WANT it to spread...

Yes. Looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

I thought about this some more. Perhaps they assume they will be goners and why bother?

They just showed everyone how to make Ebola air born.

Having ran power sprayers for years I guarantee they created a mist with particles of the disease in it. Both those workers just played Russian roulette with Ebola.

Yep! I can hear it now, come the November election: “Blacks are afraid to go to the polls to vote because of Ebola..”, “Blacks disenfranchised due to Ebola” “Ebola fears costs Dem votes!”, blah blah blah...

Just wait until this hits Mexico City. Dallas is a mess, but I would be surprised if things get out of hand in Dallas. But if Mexico City gets hit then it is all over for the Western Hemisphere.

Ya, you can see the stream of ebola-barf running towards the front of tires of parked cars at the top of the image. It probably drains to the pool.

Yes, those are strange looking HAZMAT suits. They look just like gardener clothing.

We seem to hit “unbelievable” almost every day now with this Administration. They have aimed for a new low constantly. Partly I believe, to wear us down with so many “attacks” some will stick. Sort of like mud thrown at a wall.
