martial. But anyway, the real problem is not tracking 80 people, that is trivial. The real problem is 13k outstanding visas from the Ebola hot zone. The actual surprise comes after the elections when Obama has more flexibility.

The keys to watch are:

1. Are these 80 ID’d?
2. Are they being watched?
3. How many of those 80 will recognize it if they start showing symptoms.
4. How many will hide symptoms?
5. How many will refuse treatment or make a run for it?

80 people can turn into 6,400 pretty fast, and that into 3,400,000 just as fast again.

I just heard there’s a confirmed second case, but I can’t find anything in the news on it yet.

This will damage the rat brand and their open border policy beyond belief.

No, I heard there was another confirmed case in Dallas. This was just down in my cafeteria this morning, so it may not be accurate. I still can’t locate anything.

oh...and this is a crisis the Alinskyites will not let go to waste....and just in time to distract from the elections.

If there are widespread reports of Ebola victims turning up at American hospitals, and resultant panic with people pulling kids out of school, staying home from work, emptying store shelves of emergency supplies, etc., and it appears that the dems are about to be slaughtered in the midterms, that would be all the fig leaf Obama would need to issue an executive order indefinitely postponing the elections.

What? You say he doesn't have the authority to do that? Oh, puleeeze!

This will damage the rat brand and their open border policy beyond belief.

Optimist.

It will only do that after the low info crowd experiences the fright of a full-blown epidemic, and then only if the MSM turns on the Administration for its incompetence.

You know the old saying that it takes a mugging to turn a liberal into a conservative. My in-laws would vote Obama until the postman coughed blood on their street. Then they might make a connection.

Overnight jump from 18 to 80.

No, two separate groups, direct contact and indirect contact.

Dallas health officials have said that 12 to 18 people, including five Dallas ISD students, have come in direct contact with Duncan. Another 80 or so indirect contacts -- people who came in contact with those dozen or so direct contacts -- are possible, county health director Zachary Thompson said.

I’m so aggravated. We Quarantine monkeys that arrive for medical testing (i.e. Ebola Reston) but we won’t quarantine humans during times of extreme extenuating circumstances. Don’t let them in right now. But no, we send the 101st airborne instead.
