I've a memory of meeting my girlfriend at the bus station, and seeing a picture of smiling JC on the rear end of the bus. The picture bore the words "Thanks for taking the bus and saving gas," along with his signature.

I remember it well, I was in my late 20s then, and I remember thinking at the time that America will never have a president worse than Carter, boy was I wrong.
