He really carried someone who was dying from ebola?
You heard this?

Good Lord! Then he got a ticket to the US as quickly as he could because we have better hospitals. What a selfish jerk!

Ignorance? The man had means for international travel. He probably had a dish back in AFrica and a smartphone.

Actually this version is different than the normal 3 day period.

They are saying this Ebola can sit undetected in it's host up to 23 days. So I would say close the school for 3 months to be safe. The children will have to do school work online.

The Ebola patient was visiting a neighborhood where 33 languages are spoken

Uh, helloooooooo! Thank you, obola. Don't you just love all the maybe, possibly, might have been speak from DISD. The 5:30 Dallas news said the schools have been cleaned. Horse hockey. Cleaned as in the custodians dumped the teachers' waste baskets? Custodians at our school stay until late a night. Who believes for a minute that two hours after school let out that every inch of 4 schools have been decontaminated by a Level 4 CDC crew? This event is turning into a cheap circus just like every other event under this administration.

These idiots aren’t willing to close for three days, much less three or twenty three. If this blows up, the three weeks of closing in hindsight would look elementary and logical.

Actually, they would need to quarantine the entire family. Do you really think that kids won’t drink from the same cup or would thoroughly clean a toilet after every use? Nobody in the family should be allowed out of the house.

When SARS hit Hong Kong that was the procedure. There was a huge public outcry when the government quarantined entire buildings but it stopped the disease from spreading.

“Our source also revealed about five children resided in the home of the victim and suspected that Mr. Eric Thomas Duncan may have known that he was infected with the virus, but failed to disclose detail information to hospital staff. It was also confirmed that the victim visited the hospital numerous times before the symptom was detected.”

“He was not exhibiting symptoms consistent with keeping him. If the person is not exhibiting the symptoms there would be no reason to keep them,” Texas Health Resources spokesman Wendell Watson said. “That’s a judgment call one of the carriers would have to make.

This guy is just as ignorant. Sort of like just a little bit pregnant. Nope, can't keep him for observation just in case he starts spewing out both ends by breakfast time.

True in most instances.

However, this Ebola appeared in 3 different African cities at the same time. That's not normal. It normally starts in one spot that usually has few people, and not 3 cities at the same time.

Moreover, the usual period of time where it can't be detected is 3 days. This version of Ebola takes 3 weeks.

It's almost as if it is weapons grade version since it's not taking the normal life span of Ebola.

Finally, the way it's spreading. It appears to be airborne.

Or perhaps.... Could the ebola patient be a jihadist???

Perhaps he infected himself on purpose in order to spread the disease? Time will tell.

Besides - missing 21 days in a public school system isn’t going to make or break any kid...Keep the kids home...
