An unusual respiratory virus has sickened more than 400 children across the United States, and the emergence of sudden paralysis in some Colorado youths is sparking concern among doctors.
The nationwide outbreak of enterovirus D68 -- which can cause wheezing and coughing -- coincided with the hospitalization of nine children due to limb weakness in Colorado since early August, and officials are investigating if there is any link between the two.

I know a 7 yr old little boy who became sick with something similar over a year ago. The doctors ruled out a lot of diseases but have never figured out what it was that caused this. He’s better but still cannot walk or feed himself and requires extra nursing care at home.
So sad.
Rare here but endemic in countries south of the border. This is what happens with OPEN BORDERS. You not only allow anyone in this country, but you invite every diseases endemic in those countries. Since the CDC is having a difficult time in naming this new “VIRUS”, I have a suggestion, name this virus “OBAMA VIRUS”, since he was the responsible person in bringing this virus into our country.
The Republicans better get out there and have the guts to blame this on the democrats and BO. No one will talk about the diseases that came with the illegals. It’s like they are afraid to say it, but anyone with an ounce of common sense can see exactly where all this came from and when. It’s time for the Republicans to call them out on it and pretend like (at least) that they want to protect AMERICAN citizens for a change. They could say amnesty will KILL our children. The dems would.

There was a similar story (a couple of weeks ago) about a village in Columbia where, for the past couple of months, many kids have become paralyzed several times a day. The parents of the kids mentioned that before the episodes of paralysis, they all had caught a virus.
That virus is now in our country and I believe it is due to the undefended border policy that our F*$@head-in-chief has put in place.
Notice that the original article doesn’t mention names or the immigration status of the kids who have the disease. And also notice there is no place to comment on the article.

Why he let undocumented aliens into the country. Because it’s unfair for third world countries to have the disease while the USA doesn’t. So let them in and make it all fair. Besides, they will get free treatment on 0bamacare thanks to our hard-earned dollars.
Just saw on the local news a kid in RI died from this virus. More blood on BO’s hands.
