Have you ever been verbally assaulted by someone on the political left with a ferocity you didn’t quite understand? Have you seen it happen to friends and colleagues, or watched in horror as the media establishment does it to a public figure?
At some point or other, nearly everyone on the political right has witnessed or been the victim of an attack designed not to elucidate facts, but rather to paint him or her as a villain.
My attention was recently drawn to a typical such calumny from a Facebook exchange:
Republicans hate anything that isn’t white, wealthy, and christian at least in appearance. They hate the poor, women, and minorities. They hate science and don’t believe that the global warming we clearly are experiencing is man made. They hate any government programs that help the poor and minorities, and the particularly despise immigrants, particularly the illegal kind. They love programs that line the pockets of oil companies, mining companies, and are willing to export jobs with wild abandon.
They hate public education, and they despise public schools and the public school teachers and public university professors. And since the do not respect the market place of ideas, they hate tenure (that gives teachers academic freedom) because it prevents them from firing teachers who are Democrats and who might infect some student with their liberal ideas. They want insurance companies to make a maximum of profit, and are perfectly willing for the health insurance companies to kill people by refusing service to anyone that might cost them a buck more than the median expense.
This is not a recitation of facts; it is a series of smears. It is the construction of a cartoonish super-villain, made of straw and woven together with calumny. The giant straw villain is

Leftists hate Conservatives because we’re happy. They’re miserable, twisted creatures and are insanely jealous of our God-given joy, robustness and radiance.

I had a run-in with a liberal colleague who was ranting and raving against the TEA Party. When he paused for a moment to catch his breath, I asked him if he knew what T-E-A stood for. He answered that it stood for the Boston Tea Party. I said, “No. T-E-A is an acronym. Do you know what the acronym stands for?”. By that time, he had caught his breath and was ready for another volley. At no time did he subsequently ask about the acronym even though his ignorance had been exposed. The fact is that he simply did not care. Truth does not matter to these people. They operate purely on emotion, and when the decisions they make in life result in misery, they find a scapegoat to take it out on. It truly is a mental disorder.
It’s MONEY.
Liberals live off the government dime and will say anything to keep getting it.

Liberals come from the left side of the Bell Curve and are jealous of anyone with an I.Q. above 100.
Liberals tend to be very unhappy people, in my experience.
They are unhappy because we don’t live in a liberal utopia which they dream of.
And, no matter what is happening in the world, they find some reason to be angry about the state of the world.
For example, in spite of our living in a time in which homosexuals are freer than ever before to be out of the closet, the liberals are not happy about how much has changed in society. Instead, they are pissed off that we still don’t yet have 50 state homosexual marriage.
Rather than being content that women are freer to pursue careers, etc. and that birth control has never been more available, they are pissed off at the Hobby Lobby decision from the Supreme Court, and are pissed off that there are circumstances under which some may have to pay for certain types of abortifacients (sp) out of their own pocket, rather than be paid for by health insurance.
Rather than be happy at how religious influence has declined in this country, the atheist liberals decry the Hobby Lobby decision as turning America into a theocracy.
Rather than be happy at how much we have cleaned up the environment in the last 50 years, liberals are instead pissed off that we aren’t doing enough to fight global warming.
And so on. Whatever is happening, or whatever long term trends favor the liberals, they are still not happy. They are still pissed off that they haven’t gotten 100% of their agenda enacted. And that pisses them off as much as if no changes in society had happened at all in the last 50 years.

Cause they're embarrassed by conservatives' mathematical literacy?
There is really on one reason liberals hate Conservatives.
Conservatives are CERTAIN about things.
Liberals embrace UNCERTAINTY because to be certain would make them judgmental and that is forbidden.
Leftists hate because they don’t live in reality. Anything that threatens their artificial, usually immature, world they hate and seek to destroy because their little world is threatened. They either intentionally or have been propagandized into building their reality on lies. Look at homosexuals and what they are doing to the Boy Scouts in an effort to fight the feelings their souls tell them by living an unnatural lifestyle. Look at Obama and his little pathetic self centered fantasy world. They hate others that threaten their misdeveloped outlook.
Sounded like the rantings of a liberal middle school teacher. Liberal teachers these days are some of the most ignorant, bigoted people on the planet.
Be careful what you ask for, fascists. If they're not going to be any more or less happy either way, then they can't argue against rolling back all the damage they've done over the last 50 years and making it a free country again.
There is not a liberal on earth worth spending even one day in jail over. Let them rot in their own filth. Meanwhile you can just laugh it off.

Nope. When attacked verbally by a leftist, I call him a Nazi. After he sputters for a minute or two, I invite him outside to dance. That pretty much ends the conversation.
American leftists are NOT 1930s European Nazi or commie street brawlers. American leftists have been castrated by femi-nazis to hate guns, avoid physical confrontations and wear Maybelline mascara.
There is no reason to fear diaper-wearing, hand-wringing, latte-drinking American leftists.

how they work to destroyed the country will cheap immigrant labor,
