Was Pierson one of Napolitano’s ‘favored gal pals?’

Vice President Biden administered Pierson’s oath, and Homeland Security Janet Napolitano attended the swearing-in.

Whats troubling is the many people that were better qualified but looked over so that Zer0 can continue to put unqualified Affirmative Action™ placements into positions that are very important.
I have always said that political correctness is going to kill us all. Hopefully now Zer0 will realize that his political correctness could have killed him or his family.

Mental illness is at the root of a lot of issues .... from mass school shootings to this fence jumper, to Reagan’s shooter, etc. Mental illness needs to be addressed, but it’s not as simple as black and white .... and I think that’s one reason the “take guns away from everybody” is a typical Libtard approach and it fits their “agenda” beautifully. Look like you’re doing something that doesn’t address the real issue or accomplish anything, but further disable or remove the rights and freedoms of the American people, for as long as we keep those, they can’t totally achieve their goals.

Wow - Horsford just landed a right hook on Pierson. Gloves are off big time. The usual ‘bureaucratic and Human Resources BS’ isn’t playing in the committee today.

I love Whistleblower .

I am watching this thing and all the arguing about using deadly force to confront fence jumpers. 16 over 5 years.

Not one of these brilliant congress people has asked why we don't just redesign the stupid fence so people can't just vault over it in the first place.

After killing a woman who did not even managed to breach the fence, I expect the administration is terrified of using any force on any intruders. Couple that with disdain for anything related to security, and we have a recipe for disaster.

With Obama, politics & optics trumps what is best for America & her citizens, military, foreign policy, our borders, etc. I confess I am a little surprised that it would also trump the safety and security of Obama’s own family .... you’d think he’d draw the line there.

Democrats don’t know how to build fences, so they’d be out of their element.

Sheila carries so much water for Obama/Dems that the sound of those waves crashing comes out of her mouth.

Sheila Jackson Lee... asking why they weren’t able to stop him when jumping the fence?

UM How about... they didn’t shoot him?

I think she gets tossed under the bus. She’ll “resign”

They shot dead a woman who failed to drive her car thru the fence. That was discussed and deemed an appropriate response.

This wasn’t a failure of split second decision making, it was multiple such failures on top of some relaxed deliberate ones. The alarm should not have been muted, the door locked, the perp tackled in four different places, several dogs released, shot by snipers, and no pushover lady guards inside.

Either that or be forced to resign.
If I assigned someone to protect me family and they failed, or if lapses occurred where a real threat came upon my family... of course I would fire them.

They have a job. Their resources are practically unlimited whereas they can hire the best of the best people in the nation and acquire the best technology available, some technology even classified that ‘does not exist’.... and STILL have something as simple as a lone man run through the front door.

Credit to Cummings for this line of questioning: “What is wrong with your culture that makes people speak as whistleblowers but won’t speak to management?”

It’s one thing to make a ‘mistake’ or your split second decision is the wrong one ... we’re all human. However, these guys failed at the most basic level ... did not even follow established protocols for protection of the WH. It’s rotten to the core. You need, as an example, an Allen West or Trey Gowdy type to straighten it out, not a Human Resources/bureaucrat, probably a diversity appointment (hate to say it, but that’s how this admin operates) spouting technical type jargon and not answering questions directly and trying to obfuscate. Bongino’s comments in #6 on this thread are spot on.

Too bad Cummings didn’t ask Lerner that same question.

Secret Service agent morale is probably at an all-time low. Does anyone really think this doesn’t affect performance?
