What? She's something like a 5 term US Representative whose district is in Broward County. The Democrat National Committee made her Chairman, not the Florida Democrat Committee. In what way is she a creation of Tallahassee? She isn't in office because of redistricting because she would have been elected under the old lines anyway, given the make-up of the district.
