Giffords should be the heir to the Brady campaign to control paranoid schizophrenics. To bring up an old bumper sticker: Guns don’t kill people. People kill people. The recent flagrant multiple killings (Gifford’s rally, Aurora CO, Newton, etc), not to mention John Hinckley of Brady ill-fame, were perpetrated by people with severe mental illness.
