EXCLUSIVE: Poconos cop killer taunts police as he's spotted AGAIN before fleeing into remote
UK Daily Mail ^ | September 28, 2014 | Martin Gould

Posted on 09/28/2014 7:13:09 PM PDT by kiryandil

Fugitive gunman Eric Frein has again evaded the massive police dragnet that has now been hunting him for 16 days as he ran into woods after being spotted in the Pocono Mountains.

Frein, 31, wanted for murdering one state trooper and critically injuring another, managed to flee, although MailOnline understands they have a jacket that he left behind.

Frein, who is on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List, was seen just outside the perimeter of the five-square-mile search area that up to 1,000 cops are manning at any one time.

The sighting led to a huge shift southwards as heavily armed cops were forced to rethink their tactics in their frustrating task of finding the expert woodsman...

Rent the Goodyear blimp and put 3 guys with IR scopes on board. Nighttime would work best.
************************
Just a couple of Bell helicopters with IR at night would do fine. I saw video from our test stands years ago that showed a motorist about 1 1/2 miles away who had pulled off the road to take a leak. The man and his ‘stream’ were clearly visible on the video.

They are also the oldest law enforcement organization in the country.

Disagree. ...The Texas Rangers were formed when Texas was a Republic during the years of 1836-45, and continued when Texas became a State. ...Per Wiki, the Texas Rangers are the oldest State law enforcement agency in the US.

Wiki is wrong. The US Marshal Service is generally regarded as the oldest law enforcement agency and predates the TX Rangers by several decades.

There’s a world of difference between a “citizen” and a “subject.”

Police and non-police are both citizens.

America doesn’t have a king, so we’re not subjects, although Obama THINKS he’s a king....

If they did as you say, no overtime bonuses, and don’t get to practice with the new fancy toys...ain’t gonna happen.

Cops never call themselves cowards when they shoot unarmed dogs, children, and other innocents.

“. If they’ve got the feds called in then they could easily deputize some SF or Seals to track him down. “

The majority of cops now ARE SF and SEAL. It seems that’s needed to be on the resume anymore.

it would not take too high a percentage of folks that had nothing left to lose to completely overload the machine.
A comforting thought. Remember that crazy LA cop that shut down the city for days. One guy. Boston shut down because of a single pressure cooker exploding.

I’ve heard a claim that he (Frein) believed one of the cops he shot was having an affair with his brother’s wife.

You can hear the Helos from a mile or more away, plus they have only a 2 or 3 hour endurance. The blimp can just sit up there, engines giving just enough thrust to maintain position.

Civilian - noun
1. a person who is not on active duty with a military, naval, police, or fire fighting organization

So, I guess your point would be that we've already been occupied by a standing army of police?

Sieg Heil!!!

The Founding Fathers would be gobsmacked.

You disgust me exactly like the muslims defending the Oklahoma beheading

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say 'what should be the reward of such sacrifices?' Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!” - Samuel Adams

Yeah, he probably planned it, yes he wants the attention. There is a lot of resentment toward these guys. THey think they are above it all and that their badge is a get out of jail free token. We have them speeding to the range down the road all the time. Repeated calls to the sheriff do no good. I see them with their lights on to go and eat, it is nonsense. As a child I saw a cop confiscate a friends minibike (we were on private land) and when his dad went to the station, the chief said what bike. They have no respect for the law or their position and yet they expect us to have respect and without respect they attempt to rule by fear and intimidation.

No, I do not support what this guy is doing, but I understand if he possesses a resentment and I am highly entertained by the inefficiencies of the police.

In the past, you’d have had the ‘posse comitatus’ statutes to worry about (the army can’t be used on it’s citizens).

Now that we live in a monarchy, we don’t have those sorts of issues.

The latest update this morning was they have not had a sighting of him in three days. This menace will ruin the tourist season in that area. I read the overtime on this case is not at the tax payers expense. I'm sure if you had a killer in your backyard you would want the police presence I know I would.
