For letting down her family's honor, a 12-year-old girl in China was killed and cut into pieces by her father, who then took the grisly pieces across the street to a public bathroom and dumped them in a public bathroom, police said.
The dad in Wenzhou City said he strangled his daughter because she was doing poorly at school, according to authorities, Britain's Daily Mirror reported.
"Neighbors we spoke to said he hadn't bothered to look for her and seemed quite happy she was gone," a police spokesman said.
Zhang Li, 46, said the girl, Sutain, had let down her family by failing to be a good daughter, the paper said.
He reported her missing under pressure from his wife, police said.
"We were suspicious because he seemed more angry than upset,' the spokesman said.
Three days later, a maintenance worker reported to police he had found a severed hand in a public toilet.
The father now faces life in prison.

But she can’t play anything at all without sheet music in front of her. It’s disheartening! And I know others like her. I taught myself. Country pedal steel and Delta Blues, Country and Rock guitar. I know much more about music than she does. I never play anything the same way twice,,well,,,except for “The Entertainer,” which I adapted for finger style guitar using sojoplin’s sheet music. Dang that’s a tough piece! But I feel sorry for my Sister’s inability to improvise anything. Yet that id the way many are taught Classical Music. That is, unless they really get serious!.

I've met several chinese classical music students who never heard of Bach. I don't think I can find an American classical music student or musician with this bizarre defect.
But, this is just an example out the glaring obvious: that the chinese simply don't understand the point of education. For us, it is about growth and development of the individual. For them it's... mindless performance on tests and in talent shows? Who knows...
Our education system is becoming like theirs. It's inevitable. You can't academically compete against people who have absolutely no life except for mindlessly memorizing test answers 12 hours per day. And the new trend is to use steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Unless the academic system changes, western kids will be forced into the same patterns if they want spots in their own universities. If academic admissions criteria were based on other factors besides test scores, the chinese would be in bottom place.

Birth control devalues marriage. Devalued marriage leads inexorably to abortion. Chemical birth control, the pill, sometimes prevents pregnancy by suppressing the cycle. Sometimes it kills the baby. Physical birth control by insertion of devices directly kills babies. Supporting birth control is supporting abortion and other societal murder of inconvenient people. People who say they distinguish are merely saying that their chosen method is superior to others’ methods and most would have no problem with an overt abortion should the chosen other method fail. After all, they tried to do it “right” and it didn’t work. Got to get rid of it somehow.
