Survey results released Thursday suggest a troubling complacency toward HIV among gay and bisexual men in the United States that public health experts say could undermine efforts to slow down or even stop spread of the disease.
Fewer than 20 percent of gay and bisexual men have been tested for HIV in the previous six months — as recommended by national public health agencies — and nearly a third have never been tested at all, according to a survey conducted this summer by the Kaiser Family Foundation. The same survey found that gay and bisexual men were largely uninformed about drug therapies to prevent HIV and that most of them rarely, if ever, talk to their doctors about the virus.

With homosexuals its about having as much sex with as many men as you can. The “gay lifestyle” is deadly.

I read the article and in the comment section was a poster who was talking back and forth about personal responsibility for ones own actions in that lifestyle...there is at least one conservative in San Francisco, a log cabin republican maybe?

While some gay guys live like Miss Manners in perfect homes, a lot of the other guys live like pigs - eating junk food in filthy apartments in NYC, drinking heavily and dashing broken beer bottles in each others’ face (trust me, I’ve seen it!), getting high on ecstasy and telling straight pals that their roommate has TB (trust me, I’ve been there!). It’s the life they choose and no wonder most of them croak before 60.
There are no “bi-sexual” men. There are gay men that have sex with women. Hence the number of non druggie women with AIDS.

Well, you know, this is how if got out of control in the first place. I know gays and liberal apologists like to say that HIV is everyones problem and that’s true. However, over 70% of all new cases are homosexual men between 17-35. They think they are invincible or immune to HIV and they aren’t
You mean we could end up with fewer homosexuals? What’s the down side?
I think you’re giving gays too much epidemiological credit. Don’t forget about intravenous drug users who share needles.
Because of Obamacare, HI is now everyones problem, at least paying for it.
