Dunno about the price, but they have some enthusiasts here in the US building Me-262 replicas so authentic that Messerschmitt (in Germany)is reportedly assigning Werk No.s to them. (Use modern jet engines I believe.)

MTBO for the Wright Duplex-Cyclone on the Skyraider was apparently in the neighborhood of 3500 hours ... much better than the Merlin, but not as good as the PT-6A.

And FWIW, the PT-6A is a free turbine engine, not a turboshaft.

Their proposal was an airframe with 80% commonality with the T-6. Here is the supposedly non-existent aircraft.
