Eric Holder Jr., the nation's first black U.S. attorney general, is preparing to announce his resignation Thursday after a tumultuous tenure marked by civil rights advances, national security threats, reforms to the criminal justice system and five and a half years of fights with Republicans in Congress.
Two sources familiar with the decision tell NPR that Holder, 63, intends to leave the Justice Department as soon as his successor is confirmed, a process that could run through 2014 and even into next year. A former U.S. government official says Holder has been increasingly "adamant" about his desire to leave soon for fear he otherwise could be locked in to stay for much of the rest of President Obama's second term.

Attorney General Bernardine Dohrn, anyone? The possibilities are almost too frightening to contemplate...and Holder has an almost unlimited capability for mischief wherever he goes!

All the more reason the GOP needs to win the Senate and retain the House in November. The GOP needs to take the Senate. No way an executive appointment by 0bama can get Holder on the SCOTUS.
Needs to leave in shackles. One of the many crooks working in the DC area.
I think this is a sign a few certain scandals are about to hit the fan. And I fully suspect a white woman replacement, expressing her white guilt about privilege, and her first job will be to go after Officer Wilson in Ferguson. And it will be “fair” because she is white, and you can’t question her because that’s sexist. Meanwhile Holders crimes will be brought out and BO will pardon him.

Resigning is not good enough for Eric Holder, Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Schumer, Harry Reid, other government officials like them or the big money interests that support them. Resignation will not do. Ever.

I hope it does not as he has aided many deaths by pushing weapons to the drug cartels to falsely give the impression that guns were the problem. He and Hillary have a good deal of blood on their hands and they both need to be brought to justice.
But how to pin the tail (tales, the real back-stories) on the donkeys, including that jack Holder?
It may be difficult to get people to listen, since none of it fits on a bumper sticker.
That would be the smart play, but it is Obama, so that's not what will happen...
With Holder’s seeming end, one is reminded of his, Obaama’s, and the Clinton’s motto: Crime Does Pay.

“The report also clearly shows that Fast and Furious began under the Obama administration, dating its inception to October 2009. (Obama took office in January 2009.) This directly contradicts Obama’s claim.
There is one mitigating factor, however: A program similar to Fast and Furious did go forward under the Bush administration in 2006 and 2007. That program, called Operation Wide Receiver, also attempted to track suspicious weapons. Allowing gun sales to go forward even when the ATF had probable cause to believe the sales were unlawful has come to be known as “gun walking.”
