Actually, he came to the police station with family and requested a lawyer.. The police gave him one (or at least information for one), and that's where he took off like a bat out of hell. He was being followed overtly by police. The area where the police station is in Charlottesville is in a dense traffic area (downtown). The police tried to follow, but decided it was too dangerous and didn't want innocent people to be hurt.
By the way, the nabbed him in Galveston, Tx last night. He tried to give an officer a fake name.. He was sleeping in a tent on the beach. Police ran the tags on his car.
I think the point about making your stand in a public place is excellent. How does the color of the panel van come into play? Why be more wary of a white one?
I don’t know why they specified white vans other than having profiler data available. I would think that there are far more white panel vans than other colors and if a search ensued, it would be like a needle in a haystack. The making your stand at the point of abduction was chilling, in that if you are taken to a remote area, it will probably be a torturous, horrible death and your chances of survival are miminal. Whereas, if you scream, fight in public you might die but it would be quick. Great book, get it.
Yep. Just read this, on our local news. He was nabbed in Bolivar Peninsula, Galveston and was being flown back to VA.
Thanks for that link.
late to the game here.
I agree. 2 many girls/ladies don’t think, they just drink!
and it is OKAY to stay sober, to be picky about the company u keep.
Just ‘cause you say Hey to a guy does not make him your friend.
The FBI just tied Jesse Matthews to the rape and murder of Harrington so many years ago.
I thought it looked like him before the dreadlocks.
He is a serial killer!
