President Obama announced a series of executive actions to fight climate change on Tuesday, during a speech to the United Nations Climate Summit in New York City.
Obama ordered all federal agencies to begin factoring “climate resilience” into all of their international development programs and investments.
The action is expected to complement efforts by the federal government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, according to the White House.

A very important and good point. The Sierra Club went through this issue, in a way, over a decade ago when asked to weigh in on how immigration (probably illegal and legal) was the primary driver of rapid population growth in the U.S., and how this put pressure on resources and wilderness preservation. In the end the Sierra Club decided that holding the left’s party line on immigration was more important than any impact of immigration on the environment.
I just about had a heart attack buying meat for hamburgers for tonight. I’m considering dog food next. :(

Obama can not change the climate unless he unleashes a nuclear holocaust upon earth. That is the only way mankind can change the climate world wide in any shape or form. Our nation has survived natural disaster such as the early 1800's volcano that basically put a large section of the nation in a two year winter. We also had the dust bowl which was mans ignorance compounded by natural drought. The government thought sections of land were suitable for crops and they weren't thus the cover foliage was removed and with a drought washed away the topsoil. The USA survived the Dust Bowl.
Our elected foolish Idiots are approaching climate change all wrong. Can climate change endanger us? Yes. But the most likely source will be a natural disaster. The earth worshiping control freaks and their bought off politicians don't put climate research funding where it should go and would do actual good.
Under Jacob's son Joseph's plan for disaster at least two nations had food for years. We need to for at least short term have back up fuel depots, back up food supplies, and an energy for electrical power generation not dependent upon sunlight. That would be nuclear and coal fire steam generating plants. One years survival should be a minimal goal two being an ideal. They don't mention this though.
The taxpayer money pit called the Ethanol program should be ended and fourth to a half of land that was used for it strictly to grow corn for it instead focused on establishing long term food storage facilities. The rest? Grain feed cattle. Now there is a true climate program.
Geeze - all the regulations resulting from this crap will destroy what’s left of the economy.

Personally, I think global warming would be a good thing. It would give all the stupid people jobs building dykes along the coastlines, and it would mean an increase in the amount of arable land, thereby increasing the supply of food worldwide, and opportunities for farmers.
