The backs of the battered secondhand vans carrying the dead were closed with twisted, rusting wire. Bodies were dumped in new graves, and a worker in a short-sleeve shirt carried away the stretcher, wearing only plastic bags over his hands as protection. The outlook for the day at King Tom Cemetery was busy.
“We will need much more space,” said James C. O. Hamilton, the chief gravedigger, as a colleague cleared the bush with his machete.

The military has a biothreat mission. Working in a hot zone in Africa will be good training for when they need to work in Atlanta or Nashville or LA.
Yes it is risky, but better to do the learning curve over there.

I think the intention of National Command Authority is to get as many troops infected as possible, and bring them back to stateside for treatment in VA hospitals.
Needless to say, I think the CIC is a non-uniformed enemy combatant and is no differnet than any other 5th columnist, spy or saboteur.
YMMV, since you also want Ebola patients to be brought here.

If our Army can't take on this mission, then we are announcing to the terrorists, that we are hopeless in the face of bio threats, and that is all they need to control our military and International affairs, and of course, bring it to our cities.
We don't want to elevate bio agents as the nuclear option to us.

Yep. And thank you for noticing that they are my personal theories.
After all, obama is totally consistent:
EVERYTHING obama does either:
a) Weakens America/Americans
b) Distances America's allies
c) Strengthens America's enemies
d) Serves Islam
e) Harms Israel
Or some combination of the above.
I have yet to have anyone raise a single substantive counter example in several years of posting this.
