CAMP EDWARDS, Mass. — Police and military officials were searching Sunday for three soldiers from the Afghanistan National Army who went missing during a training exercise at a Cape Cod military base.
The Afghan soldiers had been participating in a U.S. Central Command Regional Cooperation training exercise at Joint Base Cape Cod, U.S. military officials said. They arrived at Camp Edwards on Sept. 11 and were last seen at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis.
The soldiers were reporting missing by base security personnel on Saturday night. They were identified as Major Jan Mohammad Arash, Captain Mohammad Nasir Askarzada and Captain Noorullah Aminyar.

This bring up an old Air Force episode that occurred in the late-80s at Goodfellow AFB, TX. They’d brought in some Pakistani officers for several months of training. Over some some weekend...one of these guys disappears and only comes in around noon of Monday....having missed the morning class, it attracts attention.
They question him, and he says nothing much. So weeks pass, and it’s the last week of the class. Airline tickets are handed out, and this one guy pipes up....he needs an extra ticket for his wife. “What wife” was the response.
Well...over that long weekend he disappeared, he’d gone to Dallas and met up with this hefty blond gal in her late 20’s, and they’d decided by Sunday night....they’d get married on Monday morning...as the license place opened. So they got married.
The Air Force instructors didn’t believe any of this...and then the wife appears. They bring her into the school-house, and the other Pakistani guys get all freaky about this....they WANT a hefty BBW Texas blond gal too for a wife. So this took almost an entire day to get simmered down, and the Texas gal is worked up quickly with some visa and leaves Texas with her Pakistani husband.
Now, I asked the instructor involved in this (he actually stood there and watched the whole thing unfold)...what happened to the Texas gal. He didn’t know, but the AF instructors tried awful hard to make her understand....these guys don’t think like you or me. She just didn’t get it. He thought she’d pack up and leave Pakistan within three or four years.
I always thought it’d be a great script for a movie.
Trusting them was the first mistake. Training them was the second. They are members of the ROP first.
No chance they pose a threat...until something blows up, I suppose.

The men saw Cape Cod and compared it to Afghanistan. The shopping mall did them in, there was no way they were going back to that primitive hell hole.

A few days ago, 2 Afghan policemen who were here training with DEA, disappeared in D.C. for a few days, but were found and sent back. Supposedly, they said they just didn’t want to go back to Afghanistan.
It is a Kennedy town, so the hookers must be amazing.

Internationals come to train at Leavenworth too, the ones that are destined to be generals and kings. Sometimes they decide to blend in eg supposed to go back to some African backwater but never get on the plane.
I would think the couple of decades worth of toe-cheese build up alone could pose a threat in any civilized society...
These three are probably in Lackawanna, the same as the two from last week. The news stories all say Buffalo, but Buffalo and Lackawanna share a city dividing line and if you go to Lackawanna, it’s like you entered a muslim city in the middle east.
The 9/11 terrorists all had Lackawanna ties.
