After Declaring War on Tea Party, Karl Rove Frets GOP Estab Candidates Not Getting Enough Donations

After declaring war on the Tea Party and often showing nothing but contempt for grassroots conservatives that powered Republicans to record gains in the 2010 midterm elections, Karl Rove whined that the GOP may not take back the Senate this year because of the lack of enthusiasm for his establishment-approved candidates.

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Rove notes that even though Obama's "job approval numbers are lousy, no Democrat in a competitive Senate race polls regularly above 50%, GOP enthusiasm is high, and independents are trending Republican... each passing day provides evidence as to why a GOP Senate majority is still in doubt."

After declaring war on conservatives and the Tea Party last year, Rove now realizes that the very voters the establishment trashed are not donating to more moderate and establishment Senate candidates in states like North Carolina and Colorado. Rove says that "Republican candidates and groups must step up" to reduce the fundraising gap with Democrats. He said "Republicans must reach a certain sufficiency of advertising in the next six weeks" to "tip the needle in the GOP's direction."

Eff Karl Rove.

He is a wart on the ass of the RINO faction’s dying corpse, and a loser who led strategy for the GOP against Obama....he was wromg BOTH times in 2007 and in 2012.

All washed up has-been, Rove needs to take an endless time out on the ridiculous progressive bench he has made into a bed of splinters for all.

I do not know why Rove is NOT the laughing stock of every political commentator in America. Loser.

The future belongs to Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, Trey Gowdy, Alan West and their ilk.

This is not a presidential election. The rewards for winning the senate are uninspiring. Rinos won’t do a single thing better than stop what the house already stops.

The closest thing to an argument would have been approving judges. Mitch has done an historically bad job. Reid went nuclear and rather than shut the senate down, Mitch went allong.

You might have a valid point to consider during a presidential election year. This year, it is full on Rino season.

If the GOPe wants our votes, earn them!

The problem is that you have a group of liberals determined to elect more of their kind as long as an R is attached. This latest carved in steel example shows how liberal the GOP is.

Before any serious identification of people in office, we need to finally have the serious identification of who ‘we’ are individually. No one wants to have that come to Jesus meeting because it is going to be a major blow up in which no one can keep pretending their online BFF is a ‘staunch rock ribbed conservative’ anymore.

When a person spends their days using FR as a tool to promote the RINO wing ‘no matter what’...as many do every day, they stand in opposition to everything conservatives identify as conservative. So what is their purpose? It isn’t promoting conservative candidates. They consistently promote RINOs OVER conservative to WIN!!!!

Look what they won.

Once again we mistakenly named ‘purists’ have been proven 100% right. Everything we said has happened. And we are villified for what? practicing principle instead of situational ethics.

Until conservatism here and everywhere defines who and what it is we actually believe in, we go nowhere because under the current system, the RINOs and open libs are doing a bang up job keeping our guys out of power and using our ‘institutions to do it.

And cults of personality are a big part of why.

The GOPe will do anything to win conservative votes except govern like conservatives.

I believe the GOPe thought they would pick up a new wider sphere by attacking the conservatives.

But having run a business for many years, it is far easier to hang on to the clients one has - like the conservative base - than it is to get new clients such as trying to capture votes from the democrat party by moving to the left.

Rove’s bad politics can equate to bad business practices Hang on to what you have is the best policy always.

“Give them a reason to come out to vote FOR somebody, and they shall return.”

See this is the thing the GOPe just never seems to get. They offer us NOTHING!! No plan for what they would do differently if in charge. They are afraid to go on the record supporting or opposing any policy. Then they wonder why we’re not that excited about a 51 or 52 Senate majority at best. Because we know damn well that nothing is gonna change, we will keep having to keep our guards up at all times to make sure they’re not making deals on amnesty and other crap with the other side.

The model for a wave election is 1994. But that didn’t happen by accident. It happened because Newt put out an agenda of 10 things they promised to vote on and push, and the promise was kept. At that time, I had no idea how rare leaders like Newt are in the GOP. Back then I thought any GOP House speaker would be committed to a conservative agenda.

Now I, and millions of others, have woken up to the fact that these ruling class types stand for nothing but keeping their own seat at the table of power. So yeah, big surprise their RINO nominees have no enthusiasm when they’ve basically given millions of us the finger.

I’m volunteering on the Annette Teijeiro campaign here in Nevada against far leftist Dina Titus. Annette is a medical doctor with 21 years experience, conservative, Latina, bilingual, great speaker. Perfect candidate for a 44% Hispanic district.

And shut out by the GOPe.

I’m so mad right now I could spit. Die GOPe die. Governor Sandoval even shows up at Titus’ headquarters for a photo.

Anyone who wants to help a great candidate in Nevada, let me know. www.annetteforcongress.com

Good! Aslong as the enemy keeps pushing the libs in the GOP, and we keep making excuses, people like this will never have a prayer and we will be doing it to ourselves.

And yes folks, they are the enemy every bit as much as a dem. Because there is zero difference between a Dem pushing a conservative hating freak and a GOPe suck up pushing a conservative haring freak. The people pushing them are the enemy. And they need to be treated like one, not coddled because they are someones BFF on a website.

The ‘R’ isn’t a Race card. They don’t get to act like full throated conservatives and get a pass no matter how loud their minions scream. When more of us take Dax’s route, we will make progress.

Who died and made Rove sole elector of the GOP? Who Died??? I’m sick of seeing his and McCain’s faces on TV being used as The Voice of the GOP. Neither one represent my Conservative views nor my Conservative values. Both have nearly destroyed the party with Liberal Pandering and nearly silenced any chance of Conservative representation in DC.

“Which direction is most likely to be successful?”

What are you, a bookie?

We’re not betting on which team wins. We’re voting. If the candidates don’t represent our values we don’t vote for them. Is that so hard to comprehend? It is to people who look to GET SOMETHING out of government. They need their guy to win so they can enrich themselves from the public treasury.

We have too many parasites in the body politik. We don’t need one on this thread!

Sorry Rove, you trashed and then declared war on the TEA Party. Now you have to earn our votes. Too bad. So sad.
