Hey, not all of us women are as you describe. Of course not. It was generalized caricature of the post modern feminist destroyers; no offense intended to those rare gems with a meek and quite spirit.

The point remains clear: you cannot do the Spec Ops mission with affirmative action operators. To do so is suicide and it spills over into the rest of the team. The weak link gets the others killed.
For those in the know, those identifiers of Spec Ops operators such as Green Berets, Ranger tabs, SEAL tridents, etc. are indicators of a man apart from others. He has survived the harshest training imaginable and has demonstrated a “continue the mission/no quit” attitude that is common only to others within the spec ops community.
Spec Ops is a job that you absolutely, positively cannot fake. You can either do the job or are killed trying because your warrior ethos will not let you quit.

A Grand Mufti would just order widespread pardons in that case. The article you read was probably some PR crap designed to think the civilian policy wonks have a wonderful strategy. Islam (The various sects) has interchangeable "laws" under certain circumstances that makes that counters that wishful "thinking".
The flip side is that if any female combatant is captured by Islamic "crusaders", then I hope they don't mind getting will raped, abused, and possibly impregnated because Allah told Muhammad that was just a "peachy thing to do". If the rapists "pulls out" before climaxing, then Allah gets mighty angry.

i wonder if this is being done b/c the libtards figure when cwii hits patriots will be less inclined to fire on female imperial troopers. I suspect the opposite; that female and homosexual imperial troopers will be more likely to fire on patriots.

“Givem the opportunity and let them flunk out. It will make the point much better than anything you could ever say.”
Absolutely correct - provided they don’t somehow alter the requirements. A friend has started Ranger School twice but barely missed the initial physical requirements, and he is in peak condition. It will be a very unique woman who can qualify - as long as they don’t change the requirements.

"...as long as they dont change the requirements." Of course they'll change the requirements. That's the entire purpose of this.

That’s why we see so many women entering the NFL. Proper training.

Um..sarcasm taken but seriously self defense (which was my main point) should be encouraged for women, especially from a young age, given the crazy & violent world we live in. Krav maga (or slight variation of it) teaches techniques that are quite ‘efficient’ if one is attacked & not armed & actually great exercise to keep fit. Willingness & practice is the key though.

Still no mention of Maj. Robert Rogers, throughout all these posts. YFP.

I remember in Chu Lai every swingin’ dic...uh...every strac troop wore a beret of one color or another, or some endless variation of a bush hat. Until the rockets fell, and everyone turned out in their steel pot.
Now that was uniformity.

In which theyll flunk out and cry to mama. Congress. But they won't. The fix is in. The Army will pre-select the first female students and will pre-determine the pass/fail rate based on lowered standards. Those that do "pass" will remain at the Ranger Training Brigade as gender zampolit "advisors" for the next crop of selectees. Once the new program is fully installed, the next step will be to assign a few to the Ranger Regiment staff, then into the operational battalions. Just another form of secular humanism being incrementally worked by fabians.

The U.S. Army is opening the door for those who present as women (vs. any of the other 13 or so "sexual orientations") to go to Ranger school. How dare they refer to them as merely "women". I thought the actual gender was now meaningless and one was now labeled by his/her/its activities vs. actual gender.
