Heralding what the University of California regents promise will be a new era of pay increases at the public university, the governing board gave 20 percent raises Thursday to their three lowest-paid chancellors - with some regents expressing regret that they could give so little.

I am outraged by the injustices that these University of California regents had to deal with. Imagine having to live on a paltry $364,620 (plus full medical benefit and a 90% pension guarantee) per year.

Ohio State University, where the base pay was $851,303

you people in Ohio must all be very wealthy.

UC chancellors also get $9,000 per year in automobile allowance, relocation expenses now and upon exiting the position, a promised faculty position after leaving the Chancellor’s office, a low-interest home loan after serving as Chancellor, and a generous pension and health care package. Nothing more than the rest of you receive right?

The education racket grows bolder and bolder, just like the other public employee union rackets. It reminds me of the City of Bell scandal in the L.A. area. Nothing will change until taxpayers finally wise up and get out their pitchforks.

If it were just tuition it wouldn’t be so bad. Most Academic Welfare Institutions get plenty of gov’t “subsidies” (welfare) in addition to the whole gov’t Student Loan Scam.

And then there are professors who write overpriced books that are required for their courses.

A guy makes enough money to buy a new BMW every month (paying cash) and we oppose a minimum wage increase. America is lost.

You can’t expect our government to survive when at one end you have these kinds of salaries and at the other end it takes 8 hours of work to buy a tank of gasoline.

Brown says were in a budget surplus. Of course that doesn’t include bond payoffs. High speed train pay raises, it’s a regular orgy.

Tax cuts, not on your life.

Too bad the graduates IQs didn’t go up too..

What a joke the public educational system is.. On your dime.

It gives our judicial&punitive industries a good run for the money..

They’re all captives in a system controlled by liberal mindsets and maybe , one day, if they’re lucky, they’ll be tenured too.

Or in public office sucking off the liberal titt and saving the Earth too..
