SECURITY is being ramped up at Parliament House, homes will be searched closely and ASIO has seized passports of Melbourne men, amid Australia’s largest counterterrorism raids in history.
This morning the The Daily Telegraph revealed Australian Federal Police (AFP) will ramp up security at Parliament House after intelligence agencies picked up “chatter” about a potential random attack on Canberra.
There are fears among national security and intelligence agencies the Prime Minister and other senior government officials are prime targets.
Senior intelligence sources confirmed the building had been “scoped out” for a “Mumbai” style attack involving automatic weapons. It’s also believed to involve possible reprisal attacks against ASIO. It’s understood several armed AFP police officers have already been moved to Canberra with the number set to increase dramatically in the coming days.

Since Australia is so anti-gun, it only makes sense to attack them! DUH!
There are millions of firearms legally held by Australian citizens. Don’t believe all the propaganda you’ve been fed about Australian gun laws. There are certainly problems with them, but they are nowhere near as bad as they get painted in the US.
My first response to the terror alert level being raised to high last week was to make sure my firearms were ready in the unlikely event anything happens where I need them (they were already ready, but I checked again). I did this perfectly legally. I’m not going to describe exactly what I did, because I think part of my security is nobody knowing exactly what I did - but it was all legal, and in certain cases could make a difference.
Yeah mate - have been expecting something like this for awhile! Our Police seem to be very much on top of things for the most part. Still not good though!

Living in Texas a lifetime, we never even think about “the legality” of our guns and even though I don’t have any data to prove it I imagine that more citizens in this great state have guns than anywhere else in the world.
Those signs seem to be the same font used by the Greens and Labor - funny that - and since when do Muslims use the word vilified - that’s a leftie word.
