Most people don’t know that all schools, right down to employment training schools with minimal students are subject to the Title IX rules/regs on sex and gender.

If you have students in line for education at some level, you better find out what’s going on.

If I was a student at Clemson, I would refuse to fill out their intrusive “questionnaire.” I would then flat out tell the president of the university that if I’m suspended, I will hire an attorney and sue the university for millions.

Thanks for the ping S&A. Latest update: Clemson University is no longer prying into its students’ sex lives

Excerpt:

Clemson announced the suspension of the controversial training late Wednesday night.

The mandatory online Title IX training asked students about their drinking habits and sex lives and required identifying information to login.

In a campus-wide email late Wednesday night, Clemson University announced the suspension of its mandatory Title IX training program.

As originally reported by Campus Reform, Clemson required its students to disclose personal information about drinking habits and their sex lives as part of an online Title IX training course, which required students’ IDs, names, addresses, and housing details in order to login. All students, faculty, and staff were required to complete the course by Nov. 1 or face disciplinary action.

“Required Title IX online training has been suspended pending elimination of certain questions that were associated with a training module provided by a third-party vendor,” the email, sent at 11:42 p.m., said. “Clemson University will eliminate these questions. We apologize for any concern and inconvenience this has caused.”

The training course was purchased by Clemson through CampusClarity, "[a] Title IX and Campus SaVE Act education program that combines sexual assault and substance abuse prevention in a comprehensive online training program."

The suspension of the training course came as a relief to some students who were apprehensive about disclosing such personal information to the university and a third-party.

Clemson’s administrators needs to be told to Go To Hell by the ones paying tuition. Or to beat them at their own game simply list university staff and administration family members as previous recent partners LOL.

Does the sex have to be with a (non imaginary) partner?

Notice they didn’t apologize for doing this, but that they caused concern or inconvenience.

They are really sorry that they got caught.

There is just one of the reasons why people in SC call this “university” Dimson.

This is ridiculous - Clemson is one of the most deeply conservative Universities in the USA. All you flamers are so off-base. My daughter graduated 2 years ago and is now excelling in her field.

Expenisve YES especially for out-of-staters. Worth every one of my hard-earned pennies.

If you want to flame liberal colleges have at it - Clemson is not one of those. Methinks this is a Title IX snafu and will be exposed as such.

In an email Clemson says that failure to complete the course will be a violation of the “Student Code of Conduct, General Student Regulation 8: Failure to Comply with Official Request.”

The actual regulation, in full, is:

8. Failure to Comply with Official Request

a. No student shall fail to comply with any reasonable and lawful request (verbal, written or other) of University officials including, but not limited to, police officers, fire or paramedic personnel, Department of Housing and Residence Life staff, maintenance personnel, security officers and other administrators or University officials acting in the performance of their official duties.

b. No student shall fail to appear before any University student conduct official, student judicial board or administrative hearing board as summoned without proper excuse or justification as deemed by the University student conduct officials.

I don't think this regulation was meant to cover school administrators asking invasive personal questions of an ambiguously legal nature under threat of expulsion.

Dimson isn't conservative; its downright fascist - and fascism is an ideology of the Left.

I can see a lot of students putting a great deal of effort in to hacking that database of information on their fellow students.

Talk about a social gold mine, for your average nerd.

I bet a lot of Tiger students are wondering about those results particular as they pertain to other individual students.

Does anyone seriously believe theses databases won’t be hacked?
