Ferguson officer appears before grand jury on shooting of Michael Brown (Darren Wilson)

Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson testified here for almost four hours Tuesday in front of the St. Louis County grand jury investigating his Aug. 9 shooting of Michael Brown, a source with knowledge of the investigation said Wednesday.

Wilson was not obligated to appear, and also has spoken with St. Louis County investigators twice and federal investigators once, the source said. The source said Wilson was “cooperative.”

A spokesman for Prosecuting Attorney Robert P. McCulloch’s office, Ed Magee, refused to comment Wednesday on who has testified.

The shooting of Brown, 18, who was black and unarmed, by Wilson, who is white, gave rise to racially charged protests and looting. Some activists have threatened more of the same if the grand jury does not indict Wilson.

Police have said that Brown struggled with Wilson before being shot. Brown’s family and some witnesses have said Brown was surrendering when he died....

Which means that Officer Wilsons testimony and supporting evidence is unshakably exculpatory.

The leftists have to analyze it to find a weakness before leaking what was adduced.The leaks will be half truths, lies and spin, designed to re-instigate national riots.

I agree with both your thoughts. The fact that Wilson appeared at the Grand Jury means he is very confident in his action and the supporting evidence gathered by investigators.

The race hucksters sense this and have been demanding his arrest! You also see the DOJ pivoting to general race relationships on Ferguson away from this specific case.

"I would already be Pi$$ed enough that I would shoot the perp without thought of legal ramifications." If there was any struggle at all for his sidearm then Officer Wilson will walk.

I don't think pissed really came into it for the officer, I think it was pain, fear, and patterning from his training.

He reacted as he was trained to do and he was justified in doing so.

That the air has been let out of the “hands up/don’t shoot” BS is pretty damning there isn’t a case against the officer
