Gowdy asking Starr why were we there???? in the consulate? as opposed to the embassy in Tripoli?

I find it interesting that Gregg Starr mentioned that we were in danger of losing the eastern part of Libya. The reality was that the revolution started in eastern Libya. Benghazi was the base for the rebels. We funneled aid to the rebels thru Benghazi. One would think that Benghazi would be a big supporter of the US, not a potential enemy. Of course we now know the rebels were/are affiliated with AQ.
Cummings wants Starr back - states his purpose for it, but he wants this friendly witness to return (friendly to Democrats narrative)

Seems like knowing the affiliation of the people we arm is a slightly-important thing. If we didn’t know their affiliations, why didn’t we know? If we knew their affiliations, why did we support them against an ally in the war on terror?
This goes to the enemy combatant in our White House. This Libyan war was his baby. He needs to answer for it.
Benghazi was the informal capital of the revolution. We sent Americans in to Benghazi to process the war against Benghazi. Obama said we must get involved to prevent a genocide as Ghadaffi's troops headed towards Benghazi.

So Obama said all along that he wouldn’t put Americans in harm’s way in order to fight his illegal Libya war, but instead he put unarmed diplomats in Benghazi to try to keep Ghadaffi from massacring the side that Obama single-handedly chose to root for (the terrorists who then killed our diplomat and the brave men who came to defend him)?
When’s the next one, mid-November?

Right, we were helping the rebels defeat Ghadaffi. The rebels then murdered our personnel in Benghazi.
Boots on the ground in Benghazi to process the illegal, undeclared war against Ghadaffi, who was at the time one of our best providers of intelligence regarding Islamist terrorists and who correctly warned us that Obama was siding with people aligned with Al Qaeda?
