Supporters of the Islamic State terror group are being urged to attack Times Square and other popular American tourist attractions with easily assembled homemade bombs, according to a disturbing report Tuesday.
A message posted on an ISIS Web forum lists widely available ingredients needed to build a pipe bomb, and includes photos showing how to combine them into a deadly explosive device, Vocativ reported.
The Arabic-language message cites Times Square — the scene of a failed car-bomb attack in 2010 by al Qaeda sympathizer Faisal Shahzad — and the Las Vegas Strip as prime targets, but also suggests striking sites in Texas and mass-transit stations across the country.

The old “fight ‘em over there so we don’t have to fight ‘em over here” slogan doesn’t hold much water when our doors are wide open to the ones we’d be “fighting over there” if they were over there.

If we suffer many terrorist events on our soil, there will be a hue and cry to wipe the muslim extremists off the earth. It will also become pretty uncomfortable muslims in the US.
Some day we may even come to recognize there is no such thing as a moderate muslim.

I had a friend who had a pretty good slice on his neck made by a ChiCom grenade (a "quaint tin can bomb" filled with water buffalo dung & diesel fuel). And that happened AFTER he had managed to kick it into the grenade sump in his foxhole, which absorbed most of the explosion.

Don't lose your cool over my comment. Me and my friends made pipe bombs as kids. My meaning is that our enemies have far more sophisticated and deadlier ways to hurt us in larger numbers than to do pin-prick attacks. I could easily name off a dozen ways, but when mentioned in the past my posts have been removed because they're realistic and horrific, and we're not supposed to give them ideas. They could easily wipe out thousands of us in simple ways. A pipe bomb will unfortunately hurt a few people, but that is only a few people. A crossbow would be equivalent. When these terrorists do something, it won't be by using some primitive pipe bombs.
