Eric Worrall writes: The imminent climate summit in New York is rapidly turning into an utter embarrassment for President Obama and UN Secretary General Bank Ki-Moon, in addition to becoming a bit of a punishment round for national deputy leaders.
Aussie PM Tony Abbott today defended his decision not to hop on an earlier flight to America, so he could attend the UN climate conference in New York, because he has more important matters to attend to, such as running the country.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also indicated they likely won’t attend the summit.

Of course, things would probably have been totally different, if the summit organisers had guaranteed that attendees would definitely not have to sit through any more boring climate presentations by former Vice President Al Gore.

More anything else, the record number of no-shows have underscored that Obama is already a lame duck on the international stage.
No one fears or respects him.

Obama should offer Obama-lifestyle vacations. Rides on electric busses with only back seats, peas for all meals, a dozen pair of Depends so you can wee-wee up, work the Whitehouse garden to keep up with weeds and pests, sleep in a green shack which has only solar eletricity and a combustion toilet, two hours per day of Michelle's Aunt Esther finger wagging act, Free Common Core classes on all 57 states, and for sporting events line up all people confined to wheel chairs and ask them to stand.

The American left, of which Obama is the head zit, is so faithfully committed to the “science” of global warming, no amount of reality or failure will ever convince them they are wrong. Even if wrong, they are right for the right reasons, no matter how much damage they might cause. Idiots like Obama are going to keep the faith. After all, without the ability to instill irrational fear in the faithful, the left can’t sell oppression to the masses.
