Mike Huckabee gears up for 2016 run
Washington Examiner ^ | September 15, 2014 | Byron York

Mike Huckabee is leading the Republican presidential race in Iowa. And not by just a point or two: in a new CNN survey, the former Arkansas governor, winner of the 2008 Iowa caucuses, is at 21 percent, with his closest GOP pursuer, Rep. Paul Ryan, nine points behind. Rand Paul is 14 points back, Chris Christie and Jeb Bush 15 behind.

Few frontrunners choose not to run. And when Huckabee, not yet a candidate and officially undecided, invited a group of reporters to meet with him at a hotel outside Washington Monday, he certainly looked like a man preparing to jump into the race.

Mike is a fine Christian man and a great commentator on Fox. I do not think he is presidential material in this age of conflict. Cruz Control for 2016!

I’ve said this all along, too. It was a smart move, and frankly what Palin should have done. Huckabee will be well-positioned when the GOP decides which candidate gets their money and support.

The Todd Akin wing makes up 21% of party. The rest of the names split 79% of sane Republicans.

It’s still early.

I don’t think the election even begins consideration, until after the mid-terms.

Palin is currently making somewhere near one million dollars per year.

Her net worth is now nearly identical to Obama’s.

Don’t count out Palin.

Not at all.

I hear ya friend. We need some new blood and I just don’t see any. There are some I like here and there, but that is vastly different from POTUS material. That being said ... Huck? Really? Good grief.

If he’s at the top of the GOP ticket, it’s “hello Constitution Party” for me.

“So when would Fox have him give up his weekend show? End of the year 2014”

The sooner the better, that’s the only benefit I see to his running.

What is wrong with our election process that these our the only ones we can choose from?

Mike Huckabee - let out killer out of prison who killed afterward. Huckabee has no remorse and would do it again
Elizabeth Warren - fake indian. Lies to move ahead
Hillary Clinton - left men to die in Benghazi. Always lying. Recently went to foreigner Carlos Slim to get money
Paul Ryan - windmill. He will say anything. Supports Mexico moving north
Mitt Romney - romneycare
Chris Christie - cannot even run a state. Likes to close bridges then blame others. Recently went to foreigner Carlos Slim to get money

Prediction: He will be as successful as his radio talk show. Only reason he is a frontrunner is because of name recognition.
