Not for the first time, an Egyptian commentator (this time a political scientist) has demanded that the Jews compensate Egypt for the gold they took on their way to freedom from slavery.

Islam did not exist back during The Exodus. Reparations cannot be made to a people that no longer exist. There are no 'reparations' due to the people of Islam...rather, reparations are long past due to all the people exterminated by the invading muhammedans during the last 1400 years.
Interesting conundrum for the secular leftista:
How can one support repatriation of gold to Egypt, stolen by a people who were never there, based upon an ancient fable he stridently dismisses as a convenient political fabrication?
I see they have invented a new definition for chutzpah! If only they turned their questionable cerebral cells to something that makes sense or is useful. I’d say that the gold is payment for over 400 years of Jewish slavery in Egypt. Besides, G-d told us to take it.
