Jay Carney, the former press secretary for President Barack Obama and now a CNN political commentator/analyst, said Sunday (Sept. 14) that 2014′s mid-term elections were going to deliver a crushing blow to members of the president’s Democratic Party.

There seemed to be a bit of a push for another Romney run about a month ago -- but in any case my comment was more about the idea rather than the particulars: do you really thing the Republican party (as a party) will offer up a decent
ticket that you could vote for (rather than voting against the other guy

I think that's SOP for DC tenure, regardless of the party affiliation. (Otherwise we would see some real push for fiscal responsibility/accountability.)

I do not buy that; one simple reason: his political policies/goals are generally the same as Obama's.
