"Moderate" Syrian Rebels Sign Non-Aggression Pact With ISIS; Iraq Defies US
Zero Hedge ^ | 9/13/14 | Tyler Durden

First, Germany and UK (and Australia) - the USA' broad coalition of allies to strike ISIS - will not support airstrikes on ISIS in Syria.

Second, Turkey - the USA's closest ally in NATO among the Middle East - denies them its airbases for use as launch sites of airstrikes and will not support airstrikes in Syria (after John Kerry visits)

Third, Iraq's newly-installed US-friendly PM al-Abadi defies the US and halts airstrikes on ISIS-held civilian areas (leaving it up to the US to be the bad guys against his people once again), and

Finally, The USA's proxy boots-on-the-ground - Syria's "moderate" rebels - have signed a non-aggression truce with ISIS.

There is NO SUCH THING as a "moderate" rebel. 95% of them according to insiders are ISIS. Moreover, anyone that would fight side by side with ISIS should be questioned.

They must have more infidels to sell to ISIS. This is a crusher for Obama's scheme for Syria. I guess we can use Assad's troops for boots on the ground.

Something doesn’t make sense to me. The total number of people in ISIS wouldn’t fill half a football stadium , yet they control territory the size of NY and NJ combined.

Controlling territory isn’t totally about number of people, it’s about strategy and terrain....

If I took control of the southern Mississippi River with 10,000 soldiers and the equipment to do so...all the surrounding lands for hundreds of miles would be under my domain...

Of course having no opposition would be important factor like in northen Iraq ....

There are no friends in the middle east. They’re all enemies and hate you.

The moderate muzzies sign a non-aggression pact with ISIS.

The ‘peaceful’ muzzies are equated with the moderates.

The West had better draw its own conclusions.

Now Obama knows how Chamberlain felt when Hitler and Stalin signed their pact. Any hope of help from other quarters were dashed.

And a 1/2 dozen daisy cutters would end that occupation in a heart beat.

I agree, but the response was about the large size of ISIS territory is controlled by 31K soldiers.....

Actually pretty easy when you have no opposition since the Iraq army ran away...and you have tons of usa equipment....

I hope dear Reader drops more than a 1/2 dozen on those barbarians...

Obama is like a kid in a sandbox with no toys, and no clue what sand can be used for. Other than that, he’s simply brilliant at it.

I don't get it either, several battalions of infantry supported by some symbolic air and artillery support, should quickly turn them into cold crap.
