The committee members requested HHS tell them by Sept. 26, why the administration’s warnings have become more dire, the problems to date with containment, the protocols to respond to Ebola in the U.S., how federal funding have been spend to combat Ebola, the current risk the diseases posses to the U.S., assessments of hospitals to respond to an outbreak, as well as the status of medicine.

While some new-world order, population-control, carbon-footprint, global-warming lunatics may hope to bring ebola to the US, I don’t see it in Democrat party interests. The most affected areas will be urban areas... their voting base.

Of course, if it is all a pretext for martial law, I suppose it could be a “useful” move for any usurper.

For an evil freak like “I rule” O’bambi, open borders have advantages. Lock down this and lock down that... Medical care to states and cities based upon race and politics for the next election.

Yeah, my mom was a wacko about closing the toilet seat before flushing. So, I passed on the phobia on to my children.

You may need to be ready to add Gana to the list.

General News of Sunday, 14 September 2014

Health workers at the Achimota Hospital in Accra have reportedly abandoned the facility over a suspected Ebola case Sunday.

A patient was rushed to the hospital Sunday morning showing symptoms of the deadly disease that is sweeping lives in West Africa. Other patients at the hospital have been left to their fate, local station Citi FM is reporting.

According to the Head of Disease Surveillance at the Ghana Health Service, Dr Badu Sakordie, the case is being investigated.

StarrFMOnline.com understands that the suspected Ebola patient is a Nigerian and is battling severe fever.

Yes, that and decontamination before beginning to take them off is likely very poor.

Thanks for the link to that Pandemic Flu Information Forum. I was aware of Flu Trackers, but not this forum. I will bookmark it. Do you know of any other such forums?

I share your concern over some of the posters at FR. I like to think that Americans would respond better to a potential epidemic situation than some illiterate superstitious Africans... but that is not the case. I’m afraid that many of my fellow Americans would respond exactly as many of the Africans.

Do you know of any other such forums? www.ebolainfo.org www.avianflutalk.com (started years ago over H5N1 scare; I think the founder of this site went on to found ebolainfo.org; considerable overlap with both ebolainfo.org and singtomeohmuse.com). NO cheers, unfortunately. (Avoid fomites, especially; but on one of these sites there was a discussion of casual contact, where MSF (doctors without borders) or WHO or someone, pointed out that while doing contact tracing, they NEVER face the contact directly, but stand behind them a bit and to the side while interviewing. Compare that with the CDC recommendation about full face shields when performing any act on a patient which may generate aerosols, "...including talking".)

It’s eerily similar to Runciman’s disease in Ralph Peters “The War in 2020”...

About damn close to it for suits proofed against warfare grade agents, but the Ebola suit du jour appears to be mere uncoated Tyvek and a half face respirator.

Most public toilets don’t have covering lids, just a seat that drops down. And most of them vigorously FWOOOSH out the wastes...
