Most freepers will insist on the PC meaning of decimate which is to mostly destroy. I cringe when I see it used that way by people who should be trying to use the language correctly i.e. freepers insist on adopting whatever words and definitions the Newspeakers decree.

I always watch them if I see something getting out of control.
I will not own a car that has electronic keys of any sort. If it is electronic then it is hackable. If it is hackable then tech wizard kids and hoods will be selling hacking ability to people who steal stuff. Toyotas with totally electronic controls scare me.
The courtroom is not even remotely akin to a street scene.
There is an established protocol and those who act without decorum are summarily admonished, chastised and threatened with sanction or incarceration. It is already established through history and common knowledge that the fact finder is in control of his/her courtroom and woe to those who forget.
The judge also has the benefit of deliberation and hindsight; the officers on scene do not.
You have never spent one day in that type of street scene, so I will keep my own counsel on what is appropriate, having the benefit of real world experience.
A group of people wanting things to get out of control can take attention off of why they were there in the first place.

A fairly typical and endemic Amish malaprop... the problem being, they're too stupid and intentionally uneducated to know or care how ignorant such slovenly academic results make them look.
They want to be taken seriously, but aren't willing, by and large, to put in the effort needed to make that likely. The exceptions to this rule are positively radiant, but are far too few and far between to skew the disappointing result.
IMHO.
My daughter says they do have thingies to open anything. All they have to do is drive around until they find a car which match what they have. I wondered why there had not been others reported but how many people know exactly what is in their trunk and if something is missing, they just think they misplaced the item/s. I also wonder if this nut thought what he had opened doors.
Broadcasting speeches by the escapees to the few producers in the SSA would create dissent and internal division. But of course there would be plenty of that in short time when the leeches discover that they actually had to do some work for their in the country to operate at a minimal level. White liberals in the SSA would quickly discover that they were simply typical, racist white people to half the population. Identifying themselves as lovers of humanity and minorities would do them no good.
When after five-ten years the leeches have Bolshevik-style liquidated or imprisoned all the producers in the SSA, we can barge in with our military, get rid of the poorly armed leeches, and easily retake the country.
It’s hard to have a war when you can’t tell one side from the other. If we all decide this is a war the the lines will be drawn and easily identified. Won’t go well for anyone but one side will win.
Trying to use big words that you don’t understand can sometimes get you in trouble.

So you condone the way that cop acted? Look I have had it with these cops not listening. Presuming they know what is going on when it is clear they don’t know and they don’t care, they just want to “control” the situation. If they could stop, look and listen, they could “control” the situation with a good understanding of the facts.
In most of these situations it is very difficult to get meaningful and useful information from people who are emotional, angry and often under the influence. I think it is remarkable that most police officers are able to control these situations. They are most often not dealing with rational people and walk into situations where no one is telling the truth.
It's quite easy to sit at a keyboard and toss out bilge.

I’ve warned both my sons to stay away from ‘hyphenated women’.
I agree with what your saying even though I do think “some” cops throw their weight around a little too much “sometimes”.
Cops , at their lowest common denominator are just humans ergo they are flawed too. The thing that gets me about blacks is that routinely they are the ones that call Police and then when they get there they start abusing them. It’s like they expect “perfection” to show up instead of a human being.
Also, I will note there was one black guy there in the yellow tee shirt methodically making efforts to remove agitators.
