Nearly fifty senior commanders of a major coalition of Islamic 'moderates' opposed to ISIS in Syria have been killed by an explosion at their secret command bunker as they met to discuss strategy against the the Islamic State.
The blast in the Northwest region of Idlib, Syria on Tuesday killed senior members of rebel group the Ahrar-al-Sham brigade (AaS), including leader Hassan Abboud and 45 others including senior members from other rebel alliance groups, reports The Times. The Idlib region stands in AaS territory, but it is close to the front-line with ISIS in neighbouring Aleppo.

It certainly was a harbinger. I took it in hindsight as the payoff Bin Laden made to the Taliban for their complete acceptance of his group’s utilization of Afghanistan as their permanent base. Remember they had been kicked out of the Sudan some time earlier and Iraq would only let them do limited training there.

I’m not suggesting the story is true, but it’s a fun speculation. Simmons did write it in first person as if it were factual. And it’s certainly panning out, except that Ahmedinejad is no longer in power.
I would say BHO was already in the Presidential pipeline when he gave that speech at the 2004 DNC convention, and his Chicago handlers and NOI had been making way for him since he entered politics in the early 1990s. Before that, there’s little doubt his education was paid for by Arabs and he went to “finishing school” in Pok-ee-stahn. So in hindsight he can be seen coming from a long way off.
Here’s a tangential thought: if time travel were real, isn’t it likely that most of the audience in Ford’s Theater on the night Lincoln was assassinated would have been visitors from the future? And wouldn’t the same would be true for most of the people who ate at the restaurant in the Twin Towers the night before 9/11? It’s almost worth sifting through checks and credit card receipts to see if they link up to real people or not.
Aren’t these the people Obama wanted to support to defeat ISIS?

I understand what you are saying. I just think that there are better alternatives to the BHO fit for the 3 words. I’m looking at it in a ‘how’d he get here from there’ sorta way and I just can’t see the dots lining up to make it happen.
I could of course be wrong. I sure wish he’d fess up to what he really intended them to be, but then that would take a lot of the ‘fun’ (lacking a better term) out of the speculating.
And don’t get me started on the potentialities of TT scenarios. We will be posting for months ;)

In Arabic, peace (absence of combat) is Salaam, not Islam.
Islam has totally different meaning - absolute physical submission with no trace of mental resistance left.
The war against religion of pieces can not be won if this is not clearly understood.
I may have got the term wrong (probably did). Could have been dal ar Sallam/al dar sallam/Dar al sallam. Something to that effect. But ‘peace of islam’ aka everyone else dead/converted was the definition I remember being attached to it, whatever it was.
ISIS isn't stupid or waiting around to be killed by a hellfire.
