Not if Texas Democrats, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Obama had their way.

Texas is ready to supply the world with clean natural gas energy. Why aren’t our federal government politicos promoting those efforts? Especially since our economic indicators are showing a declining American economy. IMO, it doesn’t make sense.

Look at New York St. A big chunk of the Marcellas (sp)shale "play" is in that state. What does the governor do? He bans fracking in the state!

I think the EPA is working hard to promote fracking as environmentally unsafe. If it’s not global warming, CO2 levels, or dirty coal, they will always find something to criticize and and confuse the general public. They need to abolish this federal entity and leave regulation to the states.

Texas has their own regulatory agencies for the oil and gas industry, they don’t need the EPA.

great graphic. I was driving in Tarrant county yesterday and saw several pumping locations. I thought - Denton folks may be upset with drilling for a year - then it is gone and you won’t even remember they had been there - except you tax bill will be lower because of the cash they generate.
