What did they used to call people from Oklahoma? I think that is the question that she is answering. And clearly she likes them.

Too many know nothing sideline reporters who ate nothing but hot. What we need are some real men(blacks) to speak out and say that what’s-her-name got what she deserved in that elevator.

I don't like the NFL going all-in on the PC stuff. Meanwhile, I'm bothered that the NFL didn't quietly have in place counseling services for their players when they get violent off the field.

This whole situation never would've happened if, after seeing the first tape and even being told about the incident by Rice (that's what was said by someone interviewed) the standard procedure was high quality on going counseling. So now, I'll give the couple the benefit of a doubt, they're married, working it out, and vilified by the media storm troopers.

That would've been Goodell doing his job, having procedures behind the scenes already in place. Instead, he's got the PC police out of control because they're used to Goodell being their lapdog. I'm as upset about the PC police setting policy for the NFL as I am about the NFL not having one.

It's actually leaving me with some sympathy for guys who are asked to be the best at being violent every weekend then when they leave that stadium be perfect.

Am I making any sense? My thoughts are still forming.

I hope the sanctimonious Goodell is hoisted on his own PC pitard. The guy has almost ruined the NFL.....

Careful what you wish for, the next commissioner could be far worse.

Murderer and wife beater, one stays and plays, the other goes and stays. The stabbing ain't on video, the punch is and we've seen it a thousand times.

Rice should have been prosecuted/persecuted, not Goodell

This is exactly the same phenomenon of demanding that colleges discipline/expel "rapists".

We have police, district attorneys, and courts that have expertise at investigating, trying, and punishing crimes. The leftist mobs baying for the NFL, or Dartmouth, or whatever to TAKE THE PLACE of constitutional entities is another step down the road to communist China-like consciousness-raising/show trials.

If the New Jersey authorities investigated Rice and didn't charge him with a crime, the NFL has no business and certainly has no responsibility to act.

Even the idea that "domestic violence" is some type of special crime (distinct from assault, battery, extortion, witness tampering, etc) is a leftist invention.

Is Lois Lerner in jail yet? Eric Holder ran guns into Mexico used to kill a Border Patrol agent. When is his perp walk?

The Mozilla CEO. Officer Wilson. Paula Deen. I’m sick of these liberal media fed flash mobs.

This attack is against the NFL to take down another institution. I watched the game last night and saw two back to back personal fouls called against the Steelers for hits that used to get players a bonus. I changed the channel.

Yeah, but Goodell apparently lied. Pretty egregiously. He said the NFL never got the tape, when there is clear evidence they DID have the tape. Something doesn’t match up. Like the old story goes, its not the crime, its the cover up.

Let me get this straight: Ray Rice will eventually play again, but Roger Goodell won’t? /S

Some on the left are saying beating up a woman in the privacy of an elevator is a private matter... I suspect it's a 'black pass'... something that won't (thank God) be handed out to members of other races.

Roger didn’t break the law, which is why Roger isn’t going to jail/facing charges. Roger is doing a piss-poor job at his job, which oft ends badly, unless one is an ex-community organizer.

Yasiel Puig LA Dodgers.

97 mph in 50 zone: Charges dismissed.

110 in 70 zone: Charges dismissed.

And he has only been in the US for a year ...

My schadenfreude is based on the revealing of everyone connected in anyway with this as being empty suits. Our society has become dominated by empty suits like Goodell, whose only talent was ass kissing. In politics, the military brass, business, one empty suit after another. We are pipsqueaks in comparison to our ancestors. Anyone go back and read Daniel Webster's “Second Reply to Hayne” and ask yourself if anyone today could have delivered it, hell no. All of our current leaders, even the ones we like, are pygmies in comparison to Jefferson, Adams, Clay, Webster, etc.

I couldn’t agree more. The cover up is the problem. This is why if it is determined that Goodell lied about seeing the video he must go. I am of the opinion that these cover ups are the norm for Goodell and the NFL now. I think he started with the cover ups as soon as he was named Commissioner and he covered up the whole Spygate scandal. The evidence to show just how much the Cheatriots actually cheated was suppressed to save face for the game. I mean we can’t have the game’s integrity questioned or the bookies and fantasy footballers may not spend any more money.

To hell with doing what it right. Cover things up to “save the game”. Goodell has been doing it since he got the job, and that is why he needs to lose the job.
